As soon as you arrive on the winding mountain road, you notice: Here you are quite far away from everything - everyday life, stress and hectic. Before you arrive, you should check whether there are any closures due to construction work, etc.! That was the case with us, but it gave us a pretty nice detour through quaint little mountain villages. If you then turn in the direction of Tuffbad, you also leave the internet and mobile phone reception behind. An unusual, but also incredibly relieving experience. When you enter the hotel, you are in a different world for the next few days anyway: friendliness, security thanks to lots of wood and cozy light, and everywhere delicious scents from smoking with mountain herbs. The wellness area may be a bit overwhelming at first, but you soon take it on as a challenge to really test all of the 11 saunas, steam baths and heat cabins. In the infinity pool you can swim right into the beautiful mountain panorama - an experience that I hadn't had before. At dinner we were greeted by a cozy atmosphere, candlelight and excellent food. Our service force Astrid gave us the feeling of being invited at home with friends with her warm manner. The food is proof that good cuisine can do without any gourmet frills. I can also recommend the herb hike! Herb teacher Klara planned an interesting tour around the hotel despite the unexpected cold snap, which had already destroyed many herbs. She seasoned natural knowledge with funny anecdotes and always made us laugh. Hiking tip: The approximately 1 1/2 hour panoramic tour behind the hotel is beautiful and not too strenuous. All in all, the stay was far too short - you could easily stay here for two weeks!
