Absolutely fabulous from the moment we arrived until we checked out. Everything was perfect with the hotel and the staff was amazing. We would recommend this hotel to our friends without hesitation. The family and staff takes care of everything.

Just returned from yet another visit to this wonderful hotel. Since Covid, they’ve been busy updating things as always & we saw some fantastic improvements. The extension to the dining area in the Gutl is lovely, although we still love to eat in the Gutl Stuben. We were allocated a table for dinner all week, but were free to choose for breakfast & lunch. The lunch buffet & cake buffet are now combined & available from 1 till 4 daily. All the food was excellent quality & well presented. All the hotel staff are lovely & both friendly & efficient. Some faces we recognised from previous visits & plenty new ones. The spa is amazing - again with lots of improvements. Everywhere is tastefully decorated & very relaxing, whatever you choose to do. Our stay coincided with the final week before closing for 4 weeks, yet there was no evidence of winding down. The time closed will be well spent making further improvements ready for their reopening in April. We will definitely be back soon !

Absolutely amazing, from the food (included in the price), to the facility, the view, and the employees everything was perfect. We came for our honeymoon and my husband's birthday for just a few days and wish we had stayed for a month. This place is literally an absolute dream.

Wonderful stay, Perfect room, wonderful staff and excellent food. Loved the sauna too The location is great and scenery spectacular. The hotel has loads of activities. The lake is beautiful and the boats/kayaks and paddleboards a real bonus. We'll be back again.

We had a very bad experience and would never go there again. The staff was unfriendly, arrogant and inflexible. We didn’t feel welcome at all. In the restaurant we were refused to be served unless we take their whole menu instead of a la carte.

Excellent service and excellent facilities. It is the third time we are there. we have special culinary requirements and the staff went over their way to satisfy our special needs.

L hôtel en lui même est une belle structure avec un emplacement magnifique juste devant le lac. Les zones piscine et spa sont agréables. Le personnel agréable et professionnel. Le très gros point négatif de cet hôtel est sa politique de gestion. On sent que le compte de résultat prévaut sur les clients et la qualité. La demi pension était exécrable malgré des produit frais certes, mais de premier prix donc de mauvaise qualité. Le buffet pour enfant présentait de la nourriture exécrable et limite industrielle très mal cuite alors que le prix de la demi pension pour les enfants est facturée au prix fort. Même la carafe d eau est facturée 1,5 euros, une vraie politique de radin à ce niveau de qualité. Manque d entretien dans la piscine et sur les infrastructures pour sûrement économiser un salaire. La chambre est grande et propre mais la déco est en mode ultra économique histoire encore d économiser sur le mobilier. Nous étions venu il y a plus de 10 ans avec un souvenir d un vrai hôtel familial au top à tous les niveaux, là nous repartons avec le souvenir d être considéré comme un simple portefeuille où chaque euro prévaut sur le client. Dommage. Autrement dit la tarification de l hôtel ne justifie pas les prestations surtout pour un 4 étoiles sup.

Der Waldhof am See ist ein über die Jahre (Jahrhunderte?) gewachsener Gebäudekomplex, welcher einem verschachtelten Labyrinth gleicht. Selbst am dritten Tag konnten wir den Frühstücksraum nicht auf Anhieb finden. Die Zimmer durchaus auf der Höhe der Zeit, nicht hypermodern, aber gehoben zeitgemäß. Wir hatten Halbpension. Das Buffett hat im Gegensatz zu anderen (europäischen) Destinationen keine 500 Meter Länge. Die Qualität war aber Abends vorzüglich. Es standen Vegetarische Speisen zur Auswahl. Hier gab es nichts zu meckern. Auch vom Freizeitangebot kann sich der Waldhof sehen lassen. Wir wählten den Ebike Verleih. Ausgezeichnete Qualität der Räder auf modernstem Standard. Anzumerken ist allerdings, dass die Gegend nur beschränkt zum Genussradfahren einlädt. Radwege sind direkt neben den viel befahrenen Bundesstraßen zu finden. Diese enden aber ab und an im Nirgendwo. Alles in allem, ein gelungener Aufenthalt, der noch durch eine wirklich nette Brauchtumsveranstaltung am Abend ergänzt wurde.

Super tolles Hotel mit fantastischem Essen und herzlichem hilfsbereitem TOP-Personal. Wir werden dieses Hotel noch oft besuchen :-) Sehr schöner großer Wellnessbereich mit allem was das Herz begehrt und tollen Pools. Die Anwendungen im SPA sind sehr zu empfehlen.
