Park Inn Sandton

I loved the location. It is really near the visa centre which was why I was there and the trip from the airport was quick and seamless. I was able to check in early which was amazing. The manager on duty and Porter where so helpful and sweet. The food was really not great at lunch though. I had a ceaser salad which was literally just tired salad leaves and some cheese was very disappointed. Breakfast was OK not wonderful not terrible just OK. The bar staff were super friendly but also didn't have stock to make cocktails was a bit disappointed by that. The room itself was clean and comfy. I would stay here again just over eats or go out for a meal.
The Maslow Hotel, Sandton
4.1/562 Reviews
This is my second time staying that the Maslow hotel and once again I am very pleased with the service I have received from the staff and I was very impressed with the view I had from my room this time. Definitely going to be a regular stop when I fly to Johannesburg. The centrality of the hotel makes it a perfect stopover for people flying in from other countries because everything you could need is within walking distance and the area is very safe for those who are not familiar with South Africa.
Sandton Sun and Towers

We stayed here for a total of 4 nites, beginning of March, two nites we had booked for some rest before joining a group tour of South Africa and Victoria Falls. Two more nites were included in the tour. We arrived very early on the first day, and our room wasn’t ready (no surprise), so we walked over to the mall via the 6th floor access. (Sandton mall), and had a very nice breakfast/lunch at the cafeteria in the Woolworths. When we returned to the hotel, our room was ready, and a porter brought our bags up right away. The room was of a good size, king size bed was comfortable, bathroom had separate shower and bath, and was nicely decorated. We were totally exhausted after almost 24 hours of travelling, and were fast asleep within minutes. Upon waking, we had a very nice dinner at the hotel’s San restaurant. Breakfast in the morning (included) was amazing- there was a cold buffet spread, and in addition, you could order an a la carte dish from the menu - no going hungry here. Honestly, the only thing i could complain about was how cold the water in the pool was.. Besides the easy access to Santon mall, you can also walk to the Nelson mandela square which flows into the sandton mall, which had quite a selection of restaurants - we ended up eatin 2 very nice dinners there. This would definitely be our hotel of choice, should we ever return to Johannesburg..
