I’m not sure why it is acceptable at this location to check people into rooms that have missing curtains. At least the front desk tried to fix the situation but weren’t successful. We checked in on a Wednesday afternoon for a three-night stay. While I went to get dinner, my husband unpacked. As it got dark, I tried to close the curtains only to find that we had none. The sunscreen was there and both pull chains but no curtains. So I went to the front desk and was told that there were no other king bed rooms available but she could move us to a two queen bed room with a discount but didn’t mention how much. I said fine. So we packed up and moved down the hall to a south facing room with two queen beds. It was freezing in the room which I found was a result of not have a sunscreen in this room so the air conditioning was running “full blast”. There was a curtain that didn’t fully cover the window and no pull chains for either curtain setup. We didn’t report this because we could work around it by not being in the room during the day and keeping the partial curtain closed by using a hanger with clips on it to hold them together. I checked online and there is no room discount for us moving from the king to two queen beds room. Also, not a big thing for most but kind of important to me is that we were never acknowledged as Platinum Elite. Nor were we asked if we wanted Amenity Points or Water. I had to bring it up to the front desk. This was a very disappointing stay and we will not be staying here in the future.
