Nestled on the edge of a cliff along Highway 1, it's a place I visited over a decade ago and still remember. Unfortunately, it rained when I checked in, which affected the view. The restaurant was average, with limited choices.

Absolutely perfect! Seaside cabins, a five-star recommended accommodation along Highway 1. I regret not staying longer! 👍 The hotel environment is superb, perched on a cliff, surrounded by the sea on three sides, offering diverse views. Watching the sunset at night and the sunrise in the morning is absolutely amazing! The key point is that the room's balcony directly faces the sea – simply wonderful!

The room size is above average; a twin room comfortably accommodates three people. It has a slightly dated feel but is very well maintained. The surrounding area and park are extremely beautiful; staying for several days would be very enjoyable. The road closures caused by the slide must have significantly impacted business, otherwise, this price wouldn't be an issue. The hotel restaurant offers generous portions and great value, with a strong wine list. The front desk staff are friendly and attentive. If you're passing through Ragged Point, definitely stay here!

Located in the Big Sur area; pets are allowed. There's a small trail leading down to the bottom of the cliff to see a small waterfall; there's a beach at the bottom of the cliff. Ideal for a longer stay. The scenery is stunning, but the food is not great.

Pros: Ocean views, close to Big Sur and beautiful hikes etc, spacious room, big bed with clean linens, dog friendly, pretty grounds. Cons: Coffee shop not open until 8–but k cups in room if you like that. Didn’t love the restaurant food. Room felt a little motel-y but was large—maybe a little awkwardly large with a huge dated walk in closet w loose shelves. Didn’t realize the living room and kitchens were shared space. Dogs weren’t allowed in those areas either and we traveled with our pup. There was a dead rat on the property our dog was drawn too which was obviously disappointing.
