We stayed 3 nights at this seaside hotel as part of a VBT bike tour vacation. We loved all the bike decor throughout the property and our room (111) was very comfortable, with a large terrace right on the beach. It was a short walk to the restaurants/shops in town and access to the bike/walk path that goes to San Remo and beyond. The bathroom was quite large, but the shower was a little tight, especially for my husband. We had dedicated loungers on the beach, which offers a sandy entrance to the sea. The breakfast buffet filled us up every morning, and we liked being able to order cocktails and glasses/bottles of wine from the small stand-up bar in the lobby. We also had a catered dinner in the restaurant, which was just OK from a food standpoint and a little disappointing from a service standpoint. In all, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would consider returning in the future.

This hotel totally misrepresents what is on its website. The Spa is open for a few days of the week only. They had no cycles for children. The food was terrible, highly understaffed. We departed after one night, the receptionist v rude! Avoid!

Bike friendly hotel right on the beach. Our room looked out over the water, and we experienced 2 very lovely sunrises over the Sea. Ate dinner at the restaurant and were quite pleased with the food. Lots of seafood, presumably fished straight out from our location. Decor in the lobby is bicycle oriented, and there were biking prints on our room walls as well. Staff was helpful in arranging meals for us. Breakfast at the hotel was bountiful and delicious. You can take a day at the beach, with chaises and umbrella provided by hotel. There is a nice bike/paved path that runs along the water for many kilometers.

I was at this hotel with the family last year and it was good so we recommended it friends. They were at the hotel this year and said that the service is no longer as it used to be and I can only confirm this now. We planned to come again this year and had a reservation with the hotel for October. Due to the bad reports of our friends we cancelled via e-mail about four months ago. Now, the hotel charged my credit card although I cancelled by e-mail. They say they can‘t find the e-mail with my cancellation. So it is up to me to prove everything as they don‘t read their inbox. Stay away and don‘t give them your credit card.

San Lorenzo al Mare small village typically Ligurian and very dolce Vita.. The hotel is very clean and well located.. Pleasant and available staff.. Friendly beach... Stay in a sea view suite...

I was there in early January 2024 and it was really nice, I had a room overlooking the sea with a beach (this came with a supplement but it was worth it), a very nice environment, helpful and kind staff, I think I will return, I recommend it.

We stayed for a week with breakfast included, the rooms are clean and well maintained. We had direct access to the beach with 2 deck chairs and a reserved parasol which was very pleasant. We went directly through the hotel for the reservation which was a mistake because we paid the full price of 300 euros per night. A couple of friends who were staying at the same time paid 170 euros… using a conventional platform. The products offered at breakfast are disappointing without going into detail.

I stayed in this hotel for a weekend and I would say that as a hotel it is nothing exceptional but with good food! The service in the room is not too attentive for a 4-star hotel!! Clean room and exceptional sea view! Prices a little high !!!
