I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn San José La Sabana for a few nights and had a very comfortable experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and quiet, with well-designed rooms and a comfortable bed. The area around La Sabana feels safe and calm, which is a plus. Staff were attentive and efficient during check-in and throughout my stay. Breakfast was solid and met expectations. Overall, it’s a reliable choice with good standards, especially for business travelers or short stays.

Parque del Lago Boutique Hotel is a well-equipped hotel in a great location, making it a convenient base for exploring San José. The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms and facilities are well maintained and offer everything needed for a comfortable visit. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast buffet, which was somewhat average and lacked the warmth and character that the rest of the hotel provides. Overall, a pleasant stay with good value and an excellent location.

Guest UserI booked this hotel for the night prior to departing to the airport. I was shocked how beautiful this hotel is and wished I knew earlier. Service and friendliness of the staff was excellent, food at the Japanese restaurant was pretty good too. Shuttle to airport was convenient, definitely would stay here again when in Costa Rica. Nice area but a car would be best to get around San Jose.

Check in was great. Status was recgnised and we were given a room upgrade. Hotel is located on the corner of Sabana Park and just 35 mins walk to town of a quicker uber. Its safe to walk in the evening to the nearby 3 restaurants and the supermarket across the road. Pool is large and spotless but a bit chilly this time of year. Breakfast is a highlight with great egg station and fruit/yoghurt station. Gym is big and open 24hrs. Definitely recommend staying here as its one of the safest hotels and safest locations in town. Great mountain views too.

Gym and swimming pool was amazing however do expect that while the room was big, it was a bit old but I think they are upgrading in process. Located just behind holiday inn which made it easy for pick up/drop off and there’s food choices and a supermarket right outside which was good.
