Villasanpaolo Resort & Spa

We had a lovely room with an astonishing view. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful, the breakfast superb, and the spa excellent. Planning to come back as soon as possible. All this spoiling for a very reasonable price.

This property is wonderful. The hotel lobby with its unique art was stunning. The location just outside of San Gimignano was just beautiful and peaceful. The rooms were very well appointed and the showers were the best we had on our stay in Italy plus wonderful bath products. We only stayed a night so didn't get to take advantage of the entire property. Would love to come back and relax a few days in this countryside hotel.

Having planned for one night in the San Gimignano area, we had stayed at a another most lovely inn. Unfortunately, our daughters got sick early in the morning of check out and we needed to spend one more day/nite in the close vicinity, as it was impossible for us to drive to the next Tuscany town. ( vacation nightmare, but reality) The inn we had spent the night prior did not have any availability and we called around early in the morning, desperate for a place that would be able to get us into a room much earlier than usual check-in time. Alberto, who was working at the front desk was extremely helpful on the phone and promised us that he would be able to get us into a room in the next half hour when we arrived. He came through on his word, gave us a great rate and was so lovely upon us arriving. Our daughters were able to relax in a most comfortable room with a lovely view of San Gimignano and the Tuscany hill sides. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was extremely clean. The common area was lovely and we ended up hanging out and recuperating in the common area by a fireplace that evening for several hours. The bartender was so helpful and charming. The spaghetti and meatballs served in the bar area were delicious!! Cannot thank them enough for coming through in an emergency and would highly recommend the spa to anyone visiting in that general area. Extremely close to San Gimignano itself, which was a most wonderful village to visit.

Fantastic view of San Gimignano from our balcony, breakfast spread was delicious, staff was very accommodating. We stayed at Villasanpaolo Resort in February, so the property was nearly empty. We did not use the pool or spa facilities, but they seemed nice.

Beautiful place, with great landscape view from the restaurant room, excellent service from the welcome desk to the bar. Delicious breakfast, fresh and diversified. Bar tender very welcoming. As for the spa, perhaps the water of the outside part coud be warmer, as in winter it is quite uncomfortable to stay there even for a few minutes

This place is terrific - the views, Spa, restaurant and service - it was too good to be true! The front desk staff, Leonardo and Lorenzo in the bar, the entire spa staff was super professional and accommodating. Breakfast was good too! I want to start with the restaurant and the staff. Leonardo was a delight. Friendly, caring and so helpful. Our group of 4 are cow dairy free and gluten free. To top things off I am deathly allergic to several foods. Leonardo served us every night and made sure we were well taken care off. I felt safe eating there and for me that is a big deal. In 4 days he became a friend. To make it an even better experience the food was amazing. The hotel is set in the stunning, scenic hills of San Gimignano. The extension lobby, Outdoor area, bar and SPA are beautifully appointed. The bedrooms are a bit quirky and eclectic. The staff was amazing.

We were so excited to find Villasanpaolo Resort & Spa when we decided to leave our Airbnb in San Gimignagno after only 2 nights of a planned 6-night stay. From the moment we arrived the service provided was spectacular, friendly and welcoming. The weather was not the best, so we didn't really get a chance to explore but the grounds looked very inviting. We had the best experience with Leonardo! He gave us exceptional service and whatever we needed was provided with friendliness and professionalism. We can't say enough about his kindness. Our room (a Suite) was well appointed and very comfortable. Two terraces! And although the view was a little lacking the privacy was appreciated. If we ever get back to this area I would without a doubt enjoy this property again.
