Seaside Inn

Marina District
Amazing value central hotel, clean and well appointed. We stayed here for 3 nights over the Spring Break weekend. The hotel is a motel style with your own door. We found space in the car park easily. The amenities are good. The beds comfortable. The room was super clean. Housekeeping came every day to replenish towels etc. The location is great. 10 mins walk to Fort Mason and 15 20 mins to Fishermans Wharf. The location felt safe. It's also on the Big Bus tour route, which was handy for us and I would recommend. There is no breakfast here despite the TripAdvisor photo! It didnt matter to us there are lots if fantastic places to eat in SF. We will definitely stay again.
San Francisco Marriott Marquis Union Square

South of Market (SOMA)
The location is perfect, easy to access all the famous spots in SF. Overall service was also nice. However, the facilities in the bathroom need to replace with new ones, or, at least, it needs to be fixed. 1. the drain in the sink was clogged, so water went down slowly. 2. I hoped to take a rest from the fatigue of my long journey with a lower-body bath, but it was almost impossible since the tub cap looks like broken, and the water in the tub kept leaking. It was a somewhat disappointing experience considering the hotel is regarded as the best one in SF.
Holiday Inn San Francisco - Golden Gateway, an IHG Hotel with No Resort Fee

San Francisco Downtown
I totally enjoyed my stay during a 4-days at this place. The location is super convenient, take 101/130/150 to go to Union square, walk a little bit and take 19 to go to Beach Road. If you are adventurous, you can actually walk to the Downtown. I had to check in early as my flight landed a bit advance. They allowed me to early check in at a nominal fee which is totally acceptable. Also the cityscape view from hotel is amazing! I felt the place is safer, all amenities provided (ironing bed, hangers, refrigerator, iron box, coffee and tea bags… so on). I would certainly stay here again and highly recommend checking this out. In the pic, morning sunrise from the hotel room.
Hilton San Francisco Union Square

San Francisco Downtown
Location of the hotel is good. As told, left side of the hotel is more safe than the right side as there are not many homeless people on the left side. The hotel provides daily cleaning and refills bath amenities automatically. The air conditioning is quite cool but can be adjusted, nevertheless, the blanket is not thick enough which slightly affected sleeping quality.

Fisherman's Wharf
This store is very cost-effective. It's in a good location opposite Pier 39. The service staff are also quite friendly. The only regret is that the indoor air conditioner is loud. It's best to choose a season when you don't need to turn on the air conditioner.
