I have an excellent experience with Epik Hotel. The staffs are very accomodating and understanding. The rooms are small but clean and is so comfortable.

Location was good, starrs are also very helpful and available to help 24x7

I can only give this hotel 1 star — and that’s solely because of the kind and helpful staff at reception and the food service. The first room we were given had a strong smell of toilets. Thankfully, the receptionist was very understanding and quickly arranged a different room for us, which was a definite improvement. However, the new room faced the street, and the noise level at night made it feel like we were sleeping on the street rather than in a hotel room. Also the beddings seem not clean, I forgot to take a picture but under the blanket sheet there were some dirts and tiny hairs which were really nauseous! The Wi-Fi was extremely poor — if you’re planning to work remotely, I highly advise against booking this hotel. Fortunately, we only stayed for one night.

Pro: nice clean, modern renovated room, counter personals are good and helpful, good location, fair price with basic breakfast. Con: shower always spilled out the water to the floor and make it slippery to walk, room insulation need improved, always hear hallway activities. Overall, good value for the money.

The hotel is well-located near City Hall, clean, and features decent facilities. Room size varies; we stayed in a suite, which was perfectly adequate. While there was a noticeable homeless population in the immediate vicinity, they seemed harmless and didn't cause any issues. The breakfast was quite basic – just a few pastries and coffee, really only enough to get you by. On the plus side, public transportation is excellent around here; you can easily buy a pass and explore the city at your own pace.

Hotel was clean and easy to check in, only negative is the location. As a first time traveller to the city we were surprised by the homeless in this area and felt unsafe at times near our hotel. Would not return due to location but the hotel was nice and service was good.

The hotel was generally good and offered decent value for money. However, it's located in a rather sketchy area, with many questionable characters and homeless people around. On the plus side, it's not far from public transport. Solo female travelers, especially, should seriously consider if this is the right place for them.

The hotel is really perfect. Clean, cozy and friendly. Unfortunately, it's location in the city of SF is not too safe, so the facility tries to discharge this by price.

We loved the inside of the hotel, really clean. Rooms are pretty small and TV was not working. Area was a little off which for us as tourists we got scared but overall we would give the hotel 8/10 it was nice definitely.

Everything is good except for the location. The hotel was nice but when you go outside, there are a lot of homeless people. Not the hotel’s fault. I would also suggest to change at least the breakfast options everyday.
