My stay was great! Everything about this hotel is beautiful. Literally it feels like you’re in a castle or something. The lobby is so beautiful it has a huge staircase and they offer tea. Its very close to everything as well. The room was also very comfy and had a balcony with a beautiful view of the city. Only thing I had a problem with was parking because at the end of the night the garage was full and I couldn’t get back in but besides that everything was wonderful. I definitely will stay here again!!

Very clean suite with kitchen, and all necessary appliances.  Front desk is very nice and helpful.  Garage entrance is a bit tight, just need to go slow.  Highly recommended for family staying

The room is satisfying with a nice room, the parking is more expensive than a lot of hotels per night. Breakfast is different but you don't feel nice. It's in the ***-beautiful marina and cork view. The parking is added to the tax fln, and you get a price that is higher than the price you have bought. They told me that they couldn't see the bram system during the check-in, and asked me to see it again, trip.com but I showed my room and booking and said they needed to see them. There was probably no problem later with the third people, sitting on the system's slow motion.

I had a great time at the Residence Inn, it's a great place to have some, ”me time”, to refresh before going back to the rat race. I recommend going to the Japanese Friendly Garden, House of International, San Diego Museum of Art, and the Comic-Con Museum as well.

Positive: The hotel looks really good and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. It's in a nice and safe neighborhood with many good restaurants within walking distance. For morning coffee, there's also a great spot called Pappalecco, highly recommended. Negative: The duvet had bloodstains and wasn't covered with a duvet cover. I don't understand why this wasn't done! Very unhygienic and unpleasant. But all in all, it was a fine hotel and we would love to come back again.

A century-old hotel with a rich history and an unbeatable location. The rooms are clean and luxurious. It's in the city center, so dining is very convenient, and it's not too far from the train station and the aircraft carrier, all within walking distance.

Was fine. Room was excellent. Breakfast was ok not bad. Hotel has gym and pool I didn’t use though. The only bad thing is it’s right next to rail crossing and it’s always very noisy.

I booked a bay view king room, and the view was indeed very nice, just as shown in the hotel pictures. It's about a ten-minute walk to the Midway Museum, which is convenient. Aside from that, there weren't many highlights. The soundproofing was terrible; I could hear people talking in the next room, and the doors were very loud when opening and closing. Valet parking is mandatory, and it's not cheap. Fortunately, there's a public parking lot across the street for $25 a night. The funniest thing was that an hour after I checked in, a housekeeping staff member just walked in without asking... The room facilities were all average. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Great views and comfort, but watch out for extra charges! I recently stayed at the San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina. While the hotel itself is very nice, I encountered an issue that significantly impacted my experience. Despite having booked and fully prepaid my stay through Trip.com, the hotel attempted to charge me an additional $45 per day plus tax for the so-called ”Destination Fee” at check-in. After contacting the hotel, they refunded the fee after multiple letters and two weeks. This seems to reflect a policy of charging the Destination Fee by default, regardless of whether it has already been prepaid through third-party booking platforms. I worry that many guests either don't notice the charge or aren't aware that it may already be included in their booking. That being said, breakfast at the hotel was delicious and the facilities are generally high-quality. If the billing issue hadn't occurred, my stay would have been much more enjoyable. Overall, it's a lovely hotel in a great location—but guests should carefully check their bill and be prepared to follow up if something doesn't add up!

The location of the hotel is very good, next to the lively ”Little Italy” dining street, close to the attractions such as the aircraft carrier USS Midway and Victory Kiss and the light rail station. However, the sound of planes taking off and landing at the nearby airport is relatively loud, and the hotel facilities are relatively shabby. There is no coffee machine and it is not convenient to drink hot water.
