This motel is what I would consider "adequate" for a place to lay your head. The mattress was firm, but quite comfortable. The floors were tile, which seemed odd. There is a nice little retro avocado-colored refrigerator which was helpful. The room is very basic. The bathroom was uncomfortably small, as was the tub/shower. If you are a tall guy, duck your head and hold in your arms. The room coffee selection was also pretty disappointing - and there was no tea.
Probably the worse thing was the noise. Our room was located just yards away from a busy freeway and the cars and motorcycles roar through the darkness at all hours, and woke us several times.
The motel has a nice kidney shaped pool and posted at each gate are signs with diarrhea warnings for the pool water. Nobody was swimming. The real kicker is at the end when they total your bill and add $15 per night to park; and a $10 Fee for this and a $10 fee for that; taxes and more taxes...
The people were nice and the room was clean, the location was amazing, wherever we went it seemed it was just a few miles. No frills. adequate, comfortable, very well located.
