The pre-check in process was excruciating. We booked this room for my mother-in-law which created quite a debacle for the pre-check in system. I tried at least 6 times. My husband tried at least 6 times. We forwarded it to his mother and she did same yet still we were stuck outside the lobby trying to get code to get in. Although the property was nice I would probably never stay at a Sonder hotel nor would I recommend to anyone nor would I book my mother-in-law there again.

Friendly staff. Walkable area. Pretty close to bars and restaurants, bus stop.
Nice rooftop, it also has a firepit.

My stay was simply okay. It wasn't great. It wasn't terrible. I called ahead to make sure I'd have an iron and ironing board in the room. There was not. I had to call the next day to get one and that became a time issue. The guest services line is currently out of order, so I had to call corporate HQ to get what I needed. Also, there was no room cleaning service at all. I didn't read anything about there being no maid service on the website, and that was disappointing.

Great. Clean. Restoration hardware European Boutique hotel feel. Price point for the quality and Petco San Diego area lodging market is almost unheard of. Very competitive- thank you. More advance help with parking options on face page would have been optimal (QR Code did not work for my phone). But, I made it work. Wishing Sonder the Baker continued success and I will be back. .

Nice,, clean hotel & convenient to the downtown area. The hotel rooftop and downstairs lounge fireplace were very welcoming and comfortable.

I did not like the check in method. It was confusing. I like being checked in by a human not through technology. I also like the comfort of someone being present at the hotel at all times in case we need assistance

Walking around during the daytime was alright, but wouldn’t at night. It was convenient and clean - avoid staying on the first floor especially 101-103 since those are along the busy street and very loud all day and night. Only complaints about the room was there was no where to put our things besides keeping it in our suitcases. Also when you showered the entire bathroom floor turned into a puddle and it wouldn’t dry
