We'll definitely stay here whenever visiting San Diego. This was our second visit and we couldn't have been more pleased. Our room was very clean. We stayed in a room with a king sized bed, overlooking the pool and waterfront. Our experience with staff was fantastic. It was nice to experience great customer service, which seems to be lacking in todays world. Kudos to staff!! The location of the hotel worked perfect for us. The only thing I would like to see is to add a makeup mirror in the bathroom. At least our room didn't have one. We were celebrating an anniversary and staff left us a treat in our room, which was very thoughtful. THANK YOU Courtyard San Diego Airport/Liberty Station!!!!!

Uncomfortable bed which gave me a backache, housekeeping services every 4 days unless you request it, ran out of shower gel and shampoo, room wasn't super clean. Bathroom sink so clogged up I simply used the bathtub to clean up and brush my teeth. Maintenance did correct the issue. When I asked for more shampoo and shower gel I did get a short refill. Balconies are REALLY tiny. Surprise after my trip that I had to pay for parking! This was a pre-paid in full business trip and the fact that you had to pay for parking was an after-the-fact unhappy update. I didn't even have a vehicle the entire time.

Admittedly, we selected this hotel because it was the best price in the area and was very close to Petco Park. Since we were in San Diego to attend a game, it was an easy decision. Our room was fine but fairly small. The bathroom was quite large and very nice. (I would have settled for a slightly smaller bathroom with larger room.) Our friends' room was even smaller. The rooftop bar had a great view and was very nicely set up. The one big negative I had....It was advertised online and in the elevator that the Bistro offered drinks and food throughout the day. The reality was that, due to limited staffing, it was closed. Complimentary coffee was available there....if you were lucky enough to find it. We were later told to just wave down the front desk person to get more coffee. I understand that, due to Covid, places are short staffed. I let them know that they need to change their web site since we were expecting to find a place within the hotel to grab coffee and snacks or a few bites. Otherwise, we were able to walk to so much in the area.

Just beside La Jolla Beach, the sea view room, the balcony can see the sunset over the sea, the environment has nothing to say. Just outside the Ctrip price, there are 32 knife taxes per day and 40 knife parking fees. 1500 per night, small expensive, the only drawback

This has easily been the worst hotel room I've ever stayed at in the US. Awful, I guarantee you are better off staying anywhere else. We are a family of three and we have stayed at a lot of 3-star places during road trips (and myself during business trips), this was by far the worst I have ever seen. The layout was a typical king and a sofa bed but the space was absolutely tiny without any room left when the sofa bed was opened. The mattress of the sofa bed was disgustingly filthy (I know because we had to put the linen ourselves despite having booked it for three). There is absolutely no soundproofing whatsoever. None, zero: in the morning we woke up from the neighbouring rooms doors slamming open and close, in the evening you could hear the TV's through the thin walls. And 24h you can hear the traffic from the nearby highway. Breakfast was absolutely minimal (no fruit, no pastry, no cheese). No WiFi access in the room. The pictures showing a large lobby and swimming pool are entirely misleading: the swimming pool is actually small sized. Literally a tiny room at a cheap motel at the price of a 4-star hotel and a miserable experience.

The assistant manager at the hotel ”brandy” is a nasty, condescending, miserable little person, her customer service skills would be much better suited for the dmv. When adding a night to my reservation she was very rude and unwelcoming. Absolutely no upgrades available for ihg platinum members not even a shred of kindness or decency. When I told her she was making valued hotel guests feel unwelcome she had no reply. The gm tried to apologize later but she really needs to evaluate her employees better. I can't believe someone that rude could be promoted when she really should be fired. Out of hundreds and hotels visited around the world (including former soviet and third world countried with little to no customer service training) she is probably the worst person I have ever encountered. Besides that there was loud construction going on and the place was very overpriced especially considering the location.
