Hampton by Hilton Bariloche

I was a bit disappointed. I felt like a number. Breakfast was not varied. Cold scrambled eggs, 5 dollars for a small latte.

I highly recommend Hampton Inn in Bariloche!! We originally reserved another hotel that was in the city center, because we wanted to be walking distance to the highlights of the town, but that hotel was old, and when when we saw it in person, not where we wanted to stay. We walked half a block to the Hampton Inn and were SO HAPPY WE DID! We were met by Tomas, the front desk manager, who gave us three options for prices and then gave us all the inside info about the town, including where to shop, sites to see in the Lake District, and the best places to eat for both exceptional beef and vegetable options. Tomas was the best! He greeted us every day or our 4-night stay like we were his only guests and was a perfect ambassador for the city! The breakfast service was exceptional with myriad options for every kind of eater, including me, who likes fruit, vegetables, fiber and all kinds of healthy things that you don’t usually find in a breakfast buffet, but I found them here! They even had a juice that was a “cleansing” juice, with freshly squeezed apple, celery, spinach and whatever else – it was the kind of thing you pay big bucks for at a retail juice business; and the staff was great. The building was turned into a Hampton Inn only 4 years before we were there in early 2024, so it had up-to-date, contemporary, new business-class appointments. We opted for a room on the top floor; it was a last-minute booking, so the one that was available had a queen bed and a single bed, so it didn’t feel terribly spacious, but that was our choice; there was a room one level down that didn’t have the extra single bed. Even the elevator was great as it had a wall of glass toward the lake, so even getting in the elevator was a delight (that is the picture attached with the reinforcing bars across the view to the lake; even the elevator deserves a photo!). The price was fantastic; the hotel was steps away from the main center, shopping, and exceptional dinner restaurants (recommended by Tomas). I heartily recommend!

We are an American and Argentinean couple and we are usual Hilton guests in the US and abroad. But this hotel and the staff exceeded by far our expectations. We booked an airbnb that was not as represented so we needed to move quickly. We booked the Hilton, walked to the hotel and despite being hours before the check-in time, they welcomed us with a smile, let us check-in early and gave us one extremely beautiful room with the most incredible view of the lake (attached). The place was a true refuge. The room was excellently equipped with all what was needed, the breakfast was the best combination between American and Argentinean food and we truly felt at home. But the very best part of the place is its staff. Starting with Luciana from the morning shift that went out of her way to offer flexible check in/out, process everything quickly, give us advice about excursions and a place to change to local currency at the best rate this is the place is you want the most comfortable hotel, very good rates and 100% bilingual (or trinlingual) staff that go out of their way for guests. Since the hotel is excellently located 2 blocks from the center, we were coming and going all the time and every time we were welcomed with smiles and offers of assistance. So do not doubt it, this is the best place you will find in Bariloche and both an American and an Argentinean can confirm it. Do not doubt, stay here.

Good check-in and nice sized room on top floor. Comfortable bed, reasonably quiet at night and great view over lake. Breakfast was pretty standard fare, not bad but not great, staff were freindly and Hotel value for money. Convenient for shops and restaurants.

The Hotel is very well located. About a five minute walk to the city centre. The rooms are spacious and clean All staff were friendly and very courteous. Very helpful with any questions about the city. The breakfast had lots of options . Thanks for the relaxing stay !

I was there for 3 days night and I’ll definitely stay again. Highly recommended! Staff kind and always ready to help. I was surprised that being a Hampton Hotel, they have such an abundant breakfast. There is nothing to complain about.

This is a great spot from which to explore Bariloche. Just on the edge of the town centre and easy walking distance to everything. Large secure parking garage which was really handy for us. You have to pay for it, but it's not that much and worth it. We payed a little bit extra for a lake view room and were glad we did, it was very cool. The room was nicely done, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Hotel is modern, clean and with a good layout and good location. The reason I have rated a 3/5 is because our room (king with lake view) doesn’t have a chair or sofa and a night table was missing. I have requested it twice with out any solution. The room is small and DOESN’T have a closet just a hanger that you can only hand a coat or two that over laps with the desk. Additionally breakfast is scarce/regular quality. If you go to breakfast at 10:30 most of the items are missing or scarce. Without notifying guest that breakfast finishes at 11 , employees “close the curtain “ and we cannot even request for an additional cup of coffee. Tables and chairs at dinning area are disproportionate so uncomfortable to have breakfast/dinner. You can tell since no one sits in the putter ser of tables. Being a Diamond member I would expected that the issue of my room be solved . We are on our third day without any solution.
