It was a bit inconvenient to get in and out of the parking lot. Sometimes the hotel key is not recognized, so you have to pay parking fee. I was double charged aside from the 43 dollars/ per night parking fee and when I called customer service, I was told that this was a split bill. The receipt that I got from the hotel states one charge but I was charged that price, plus another charge of twice that amount. Customer service refused or was incapable of explaining to me why I was charged twice. I suggest that you do not stay at this hotel.

We decided to have a staycation and chose the Sheraton Gunter for our stay. It is a very beautiful hotel with lots of history known for its haunts and other antiquities. The staff was extremely accommodating, especially when a staff member took the time out of their busy schedule to give us a haunting tour ☺☺! We LOVED their pool as it has sitting areas inside around the pool, which helped me because of my arthritis and got to sit and relax in the water when I wanted to take a break. Only complaint that I have is that I wish that they had a guest laundry as it would have really made things easier especially when traveling with children. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel, even in a regular non suite, the room was very spacious, the beds extremely comfortable, and very close to restaurants, and other tourist attractions.

The location is pretty good, the Alamo is cross street, the fever walk is walking distance too, I ordered a king room, the room is pretty small, and you can see the decoration is really old, the shower curtain is worn out. And there is no drinking water in the room, I went out to the vending machine but the bottle water never came out after I paired and selected my item.

My honey and I had an amazing time at the hotel! Breakfast in bed was the best. The front desk was kind and attentive to our needs. The bar downstairs and the pool were a great time as well. Will be coming back soon!
