Excellent guesthouse. Truly family-run. The mother and daughter are incredibly kind and attentive. Breakfasts are good, and the rooms are clean. They're always ready to help with anything you need. I highly recommend it!

This is an amazing place to stay in Samarkand. The rooms are very spacious and very comfortable. The one I stayed in had a balcony and a full bath. The manager is very friendly and eager to help his guests. The only downside I would say is that it's a bit further away from town than most hotels, but it's still a place I'd highly recommend in Samarkand.

It's a very refreshing courtyard villa hotel with big size room. One of the best hotels we stayed in so far in uzbekistan. All the main attractions are about 8 minutes taxi rides away from the hotel. The room was clean and well presented and modern fixing with air conditioning. The hosts of the hotel were really nice and knowledgeable and help with trips around samarkand. I would recommend is hotel to anyone.

Stayed for four(4) nights, was a wonderful experience. Room condition was nice, enjoyed the meal, and the staff was very helpful. Location was a bit far from major travel sites if comparing with other guesthouses, yet it was still close enough(20m walk to Registan) and thanks to relatively cheap taxi fee, it was not a big deal. Overall, highly recommended.

This family-run guesthouse is highly recommended by locals. Although it's a bit far from tourist attractions and the train station, taxis are readily available and inexpensive in Samarkand. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, although it was a bit chilly at night in October with only a thin sheet. The landlady is very friendly, speaks excellent English, and the breakfast is delicious. The only downside is that the tax wasn't charged according to Ctrip's listing. Please be aware of this, as there might be changes. Although it's not a large amount, it's advisable to keep a receipt for reconciliation.

Shakuri Guesthouse is a welcoming home in Samarkand. Delicious, varied breakfasts and white linens and towels are a joy to the guests. The house is located in the old part of the city. The road leads first through the Mahalla quarter, then along University Boulevard to the Tamerlane monument. The Tamerlane monument is a landmark for tourists in the historical part of Samarkand. I will remember with gratitude the hospitality of the Shakuri Guesthouse hostess. I stayed there in October 2025. I recommend everyone visit Samarkand and stay at Shakuri Guesthouse.
