Hotel Sacher is famous in Austria. When I was doing guides before, I saw more of Sacher in Vienna. Less about Salzburg. I really wanted to experience this hotel during this trip, and considering the cost (Salzburg is cheaper), I booked Sacher in Salzburg. The front desk of the hotel was very friendly. She knew that I was Chinese and chatted with me in simple Chinese. She said that she had studied Chinese for a year, but she almost gave it back to the teacher😂. After check-in, he personally took me to the room and told me that the cake could be purchased from the store downstairs or ordered at the café for afternoon tea. As for the taste of the cake, I am a heavy chocolate dessert lover and I like it (the cream on the side can relieve the greasiness). It should be noted that the hotel will provide an afternoon tea and two sacher cakes in the afternoon [laughing R]. In the morning, I felt that the single buffet was a bit expensive, so I chose room service for more than half the price, and the result was amazing. The coffee comes directly from the pot, and the brewed taste is really strong. Not to mention the yogurt jam, it is my favorite every time I go to Europe. It is really good to have breakfast facing the window, and it does not affect my mood on rainy days. The hotel's corridors and room layout are very unique, and each room is different. There is a parking lot in the hotel and there is a public parking lot to be taken a little further. No toiletries, no slippers, no water, no kettle. The double bed was slightly smaller and the son was a little crowded. Downstairs is the net red pizza shop! The hotel is located in a small commercial street. It is close to the food alley, Mirabell Gardens, Mozart’s birthplace! Breakfast is also simple and clean

The staff are very nice and helpful. They offered us with a free room upgrade but somehow became a 2 single beds room as we originally booked a double bed room. But never mind, we still enjoy staying in NH collection hotel.

This hotel's location is excellent. It is about 15 minutes walk to the old town centre and 10 minutes to the railway station. The meeting point for local tours to Hallstatt and other places is just around the corner. The reception staff are always attentive and polite. They have greeted me with a smile whenever they saw me. The restaurant Mirabelle's Italian cuisine is one of the best I have ever tasted. The staff there are very welcoming and caring. The hotel's room service delivered very good food at a reasonable price too. The room is of a good size and the bed is comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the noise of the vehicle clearing rubbish bins. It always woke me up before six in the morning. So choose the rooms on the garden side if there is a choice.

It is said to be a five-star hotel in Salzburg. It is very cost-effective. Drinks and snacks are free in the room. There are also free chocolates. Water or wine is provided when checking in. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the central train station and bus station which is convenient if you are travelling to other places for example, Konigssee and Hallstatt. It is a bit further from the main attractions of Salzburg, around 15 minutes walk. There is no door for the shower and there is a see through glass between the bedroom and shower, not too private if you are travelling with someone else. Shower and toilet are separated. There is an electronic blinds available outside the window, which keep a bit privacy from the room to the outside. Drinking water is only available on the ground floor outside the reception. Reception is helpful but compared to my previously experience, doesn’t feel very welcoming. There are restaurants and a 24-hours kiosk store around the hotel.

Convenient hotel to reach both the station and the center. Few places nearby to eat. The bus stop is 100 meters away and the center can also be reached on foot. Friendly staff, but price too high for the type of room. At 8 a.m. we were woken up by electricians for maintenance work.

Strategically located hotel, cleanliness and rich and satisfying breakfast. Unfortunately, staying at this hotel was one that I had to have an unpleasant situation every day such as: -I ran out of water in the room, the receptionist with Asian features informed me that only by buying 2 bottles of water (which cost me €9 or something) with a bored and indignant tone I can have water in the room. The next day going to breakfast I saw by myself that in the lobby of the hotel they have courtesy lemon water in a big jar. - Unclear information received from reception I missed breakfast because I was not informed that breakfast is at different times on certain days. - Lack of clear communication between the cleaning staff and those at the reception: non-functional hair dryer in the room, changed after 4 days and still functional in the room. The hair dryer could not be changed because the technician only worked on Monday and on Thursday evening I noticed that it was not working. So I had to buy a hair dryer(€48- I couldn't find anything cheaper) I had the possibility to change the room but I was already tired because I had changed a room because of the noise from the street. - Rooms with a view to the street, to the front of the hotel, are uncomfortable because with the closing of the windows you can still hear the noise in the room from the cars. The only receptionist who was professional and empathetic was Anna and who managed to solve my minimum requirements.
