Aparthotel SunClub Salou

Arrival and check in was very quick, we had a lovely,spacious and clean room overlooking the pools. The big pool was cold (expected as it’s only May) but the kids and the jacuzzi we’re warmer. Housekeeping were very diligent and hardworking. we never ate here preferring to cook in our room or take a bus into Salou-the buses ran very often and both stops on/off was a 2 minute walk (if you go into the bus plana shop at the bottom of the hill) the lovely and super friendly staff will talk you through and I would highly recommend buying a travel card (so much cheaper than paying cash per journey) Evening entertainment was quiet but again as expected as season hasn’t quite got into full swing (but what they did do was throughly enjoyed by all of us) The Cala font beach is a must and only a 10 picturesque minute walk. The shop adjoined to the hotel had everything we needed plus fresh bakery items.

Stayed for 7 days break after reading reviews of sunclub we booked for a stay . What a hotel rooms so clean and great size and large balcony all you need for self catering.the view from balcony was amazing .All areas of the hotel very clean toilets bar area all inviting. The pool area so clean and inviting . Food was of good quality . The supermarket was a bonus and well priced fresh croissants in morning. Get base for days out to Salou Cambris la pinda etc . No problem getting deposit back . Cleaners 1st class changed towel bedding at regular thank you. Last day we checked out and treated ourselves to a breakfast 21 Euro not disappointed great choice full English to cold selection. So big thank you for a great stay . We be back next October 2024 for another 7 days .

Excellent hotel, great value for money. Rooms very clean , large balcony. Best showers I have ever had in any hotel I have ever stayed in!!.great location, bus only minutes from hotel, into salou or to the them park.we had an issue with the all inclusive package that you could purchase, breakfast great but staff or lack of them behind the bar was an issue. Waiting sometimes for 20 minutes just for a drink. You were issued with a wrist band a cup and a token !!!! It was a complete mess the system.needs reviewing ??.

Just returned from a week's holiday. Hotel very clean, room was spotless. Staff all very nice. Good sized main pool, though was very cold. Also children's pool and play area and whirl pool. Also an over 16s jacuzzi pool which was warmer but children also used it so was noisy and splashy. Good location, there is a supermodel at the hotel which had lovely fresh croissants etc. for breakfast, good selection and reasonably priced. Was only a 5/10 minute walk down to bars and restaurants, though some had already closed for the season. Still enjoyed few that were open, all food was excellent and menus had great choices. Bus stop into Salou was 5 minutes from hotel and regular. Bit of noise from hotel nearby and from some of the rooms but this didn't spoil our enjoyment. Entertainment every night, great for kids.

I hadn't been abroad for a number of years so was a little nervous about a package holiday. So we decided to go mid Sept. When you do arrive you have to pay €100 deposit (can do it on card) but get it back when you check out. Also a few euros each person a night in cash. This is tourist tax. But don't be put off by it. We went bed and breakfast which was lovely, plenty to choose from. The room was spotless and spacious. We didn't have any problems with staff all were polite and helpful. They come in every day to make beds and sweep around. Our room was on the side but we could see the sea from it. The balcony was big enough, with a table and 4 chairs. The only negative from the room was that the double bed was 2 singles pushed together. The pool is fresh water so it's a little chilly til the sun comes around mid morning. There is plenty of sun loungers around the pool with umbrellas. The childrens area is clean. The food and drinks aren't too expensive. You can order and take the food back to your room. There is a small shop on site but 2 minutes walk there is a larger one, where there is 5 restaurants. The bus stop is at the bottom of the road and runs frequently to Salou, Cambrils and other places. Getting a pre payed pass from bus plans is a must, so you don't have to mess around with change each time. There are 2 small beaches not far away but there are steps going down so not suitable for people with mobility issues. Cap Salou is a quiet place but worth it. We are booking for next year 😁

Stayed 1 st week of October as a couple. Positives; Friendly staff Spacious apartments with huge balconies. Nice food not expensive Option to have all inclusive wristbands for drinks till 11 pm. Jacuzzi area for over 16s. Buss stop just outside Negatives; Hotel 3 star not 4 In need of updating and modernising. Jacuzzi area not monitored and children are in this area. However pools are cold so I can see why. Hotel is aimed at families and not couples. Apartment walls are very thin and you can hear every word from next door to you. I think if you have children with you this hotel is ideal. However we had a great time and made the best of it

I was worried after reading reviews about the H10 hotel next door being very noisy. It's true, the hotel next door is very noisy and I imagine to stay on the pool side of the hotel could be disruptive. We stayed on the other side of the hotel which had a side sea view on the 5th floor and didn't experience any issues from the noise. The hotel provided everything needed for a comfortable family stay and what a relief that the plentiful amounts of sunbeds meant no sunbed wars. The pool area doesn't really get any sunlight till after midday. The only huge downside and the reason I wouldn't return to this hotel was that the pool was absolutely freezing - like it took your breath away as you lowered yourself in and couldn't stay in long it was just soooo cold. I'm not sure if they had just changed the water or something but it ruined the couple of days where we thought we would stay at hotel and we ended up going to the 2 nearby coves where the sea was much more preferable. Cap salou itself is lovely and picturesque with enough bars and restaurants for a one week stay and away from the hustle and bustle of Salou. We used the buses the visit the theme parks and water park which was really easy and the bus stop was only a 5 min walk but be prepared for them to be busy and there's a local culture of queue jumping which you learn to deal with and participate in! You may want to budget for a taxi instead but that's a personal choice, we stuck it out with the bus pass which we had pre purchased. Just warm the pool and we would return.

At the Sunclub Apartments you will find very polite and helpful staff +Apartments are very clean . This is apparently a four start accommodation. We stayed here a week and possibly had one full night's sleep as the apartments don't appear to have any sound proofing and we could of easily had a conversation with our neighbours through the walls .If your looking for a friendly clean place to stay and happy to have very little or no sleep for the duration of your holiday then this is the place for you . We won't be returning to this establishment and really not sure how or why it's classes as four star accomodation as it's in real need of modernization and maintenance in some areas

Overall a good stay here for a last ish minute booking. Room spacious & clean, enough kitchen items supplied for self catering. Be aware there is €100 deposit required for security/cleaning but we had no issues getting this back. Food & drinks in the bar reasonably priced & food we tried was tasty. Pool area nice & clean and well maintained. Bar staff sometimes no so friendly but they were busy & it didn’t put us off. We were above the entertainment so was noisy until midnight but wasn’t an issue for us. Hotel can be a little loud at night especially when some people don’t care for others who might be sleeping but that’s not the hotels fault. Overall we enjoyed our stay lovely area to.
