The remote/online check-in process was a nightmare - click the link, fill in your details, sign a small rectangle and wait for someone on WhatsApp to confirm it worked or not. I suppose this impersonal method was used due to it being off-season when I went. Either way, not smooth at all, although the person on WhatsApp was very friendly. The suite itself was very clean and well facilitated but I couldn’t find a kettle, only a coffee machine. Also, the fridge door didn’t shut fully, so it had to be ‘encouraged’ with a push. Finally, the light in the kitchen area started flickering like crazy one night. I suppose the bulb was faulty, so I just turned it off and used a different light. Nothing major but small things that need mentioning. The atmosphere is the suite was cold - and I don’t mean the temperature, I mean it feels like you’re in a laboratory or modern art gallery. Considering the outside of the hotel looks quite Spanish, I was hoping the inside would reflect something of the local culture.

From the minute we walked into this hotel (early before check in time ) the welcome we got was warm and friendly. All of the staff that we came across during our stay were very friendly and helpful in fact the lady and man on reception were exceptionally helpful as neither of our safety deposit boxes worked but within minutes of mentioning it the safes we changed for new ones . It feels like a small and friendly family run hotel where the guests are treated like family .The hotel booking was made through a third party and they had forgotten to tell the hotel that we had paid for breakfast however this was not a problem and was sorted immediately. Breakfast is served either inside or on the outside terrace and there was a good choice available .The rooms were large , well decorated and spotlessly clean . Free secure car parking is available.There is nothing negative that we could find to say about this hotel and would definitely stay there again

Apartment wonderful but facilities closed! The apartment itself was lovely, very impressive. Clean and well laid out. The only issue I have is that I booked the apartment in part because of the facilities - and no where did it mention that the hotel (and therefore the facilities) were closed! So no bar, no cafe, no pool... Having said that, the apartment really was very nice and we'd stay again.

A bad stay four of us arrived for a two night break, fully paid in advance, hotel messed up booking causing an additional €172 which was nearly as much as original booking, then charged us €48 for breakfast on one day. Internet was intermittent at best. Said there was two spa pools but only one so overcrowded and not clean. Advertised having a cafeteria but only had drink no food at all. Paid for two night romantic break as part of deal with partner bit only had one bottle of carver for first night and not for second night. No coffee sachets in room, when asked nothing arrived. Asked for additional towels to replace wet ones again nothing provided. Staff unhelpful roof terrace not open in morning. All in all a wasted and fairly expensive trip. Find a different hotel

This is a well located hotel about 5 min. from the beach, local market and the historic center. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was tidy and clean, with a very comfortable bed. We just loved the long pillows. Breakfast is very nice.

We have never needed to stay in a hotel in Salobrena in the past but, while having work done on our house, we spent 5 nights here. It is a friendly, welcoming hotel with pleasant staff. Comfortable and clean rooms and, surprisingly, a welcoming bottle of fizz and chocolates on arrival. No special occasion, just their standard welcome in the room. I think the extra bottle on day four might have been a mistake, but we drank it anyway! Would certainly stay here again if the need arises, and will recommend it to others.

This property was lovely. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The reception was smooth and the staff took trouble to ensure we understood the facilities, arrangements for breakfast etc. Free parking is available at the back of the hotel - it’s gated, lit and has cctv. There is also paid parking underground but we used the outside area which was very good. Breakfast was excellent. Limited a la carte (fried, scrambled or omelette eggs). On the buffet everything was fresh and very appealing. The waitress was lovely too. The hotel is closer to the town than the beach but it’s only a ten minute stroll to the beach front area, mainly through a little park and alongside shops. Great value for money.
