The hotel does have a grand-presence on Lungomare. Being an older and spacious property does have it's advantages - like having a wide balcony with chairs to gaze out at the exotic Amalfi coast (photo attached). Though Easter time, we were lucky to have a room with a balcony. Conveniently located in a 10-minute walk the the Salerno station, bus-stop or concordia Pier to reach Amalfi. Room was spacious with large cupboards and a small place to cook-meals. A kettle would have been comfortable in the room. Being Asian, I love my warm water and a morning coffee. Breakfast was tasty with some of the local sweet delicacies like Sfogliatella and Conchiglia. I noticed it was spread in way which reduced food-wastage on the table. However, I missed warm sausages or omlette. Would have also liked vegetable salads and cut fruits. A variety of whole fresh fruits were accessible, but sometimes we get lazy to peel and eat an entire fruit :) Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is ok, some weird rules around the pool where you are obligated to wear a cap in order to access it. The safe guard is very persistent on keeping this rule. The restaurant was surprisingly better than expected. It takes about 1.5h to reach amalfi by the car from hotel. Hotel has a parking lot which is def a perk. The rooms were ok and clean.

The hotel was very comfortable and was very clean and was very close to the centre and we had no public funding. If you have luck you are free parking under the stable ( we found it). Otherwise, the lady recommends a parking at 4/5 euro per day. The area has many stores and supermarkets right on the stable road. The bar under the palace is convenient to make breakfast. Perfectly I would say. The only things I don't put 5 stars because the room is too cold. The air conditioners to heat the room take a lot to heat the environment and the bathroom is cold because it is not heated, also I had problems with the hot water of the shower after 3 Min I found to do the cold shower . After 15 Min, however, it was divided into the cold of the room the cold of the shower was a huge discomfort, which is why my companion had to do the shower the next day. Finally, cmq is a apartment divided in b&b so not suitable for those who do not tolerate the minimum noise.. for me it was not a problem.

Me, my husband and daughter stayed only 1 night so we could catch the ferry to Amalfi. We arrived at midnight and got in easily and staff was friendly and polite. Room was clean, air conditioning worked great. Beds were a bit hard but we were exhausted and slept well. When arriving, the street was still active and loud so I was pleasantly surprised that once in the room I could hear no outside noise. It was walkable to the ferry and a cool mainstreet. If we had more time, nice shopping and walk to the water. Breakfast was efficient and typical Italin fare.

We stayed here for 10 nights at the end of October/November time. There had been lots of changes with air travel but the hotel accommodated everything for us. We had a suite for the full 10 nights which we can recommend, very comfortable and enough space to move around in when staying for a while. The balcony overlooked the valleys and hills in the distance, and the hotel gardens which are spacious and well kept. Rooms were serviced when requested, and the minibar/fridge was a welcome addition to our comfort. We had a hire car which we were able to park securely at the bottom of the hill from the hotel, less than 5 minutes walk away. There is a little shop you can pop into on the way to/from the car park which is run by a charming man who will provide sandwiches, lunch items, etc if you want them, as well as other everyday items. Breakfast at the hotel is included, and of a high standard. The restaurant serves high quality food from a small but acceptable menu, and as we were staying for a while we found them very accommodating for making things for us that weren’t on the menu, or changing menu items to our taste (eg no nuts, etc). The food appeared fresh and was cooked and served with care and with friendly and professional service. The chef regularly sent us free appetisers of a high quality too. We were even treated to some wine lessons and recommendations by our knowledgeable host, which was really nice and welcomed by us. The bar was well stocked, and snacks were served with our aperitif every time, sometimes hot from the kitchen and other times nibbles from the local area. We went to a local restaurant (La Foce) a few times too for a bit of variety, and had no problems there or with the hotel doing this. The other restaurant is about 15/20 mins walk away up hill, but downhill coming back! It seems hotel guests often go there, and they looked after us very well too. The reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and gave us some welcome suggestions for things to do, including providing info on the best way to travel the fairly nearby Amalfi Coast by ferry. We had a really nice stay and were able to really relax after the trials and tribulations of the previous year and a half due to covid. We felt safe at this hotel too, and they were well aware of safety measures to reduce any risks for guests and staff. We can wholeheartedly recommend this venue for a relaxing stay with access to the local area. We found it useful to have a car, although there is a regular local bus service too for guests who want to use public transport. This makes the hotel more accessible to all guests even though it is high up on a hill, the views are breathtaking though and make up for needing to travel to get to other areas. It was a wonderful base for us and we will definitely try to go back again. All credit to a wonderful location and to the amazing staff who were always willing to go that extra mile to care for us. This small Boutique Hotel is an absolute gem. We stayed for 4 nights and traveled around Southern Italy. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Hotel is immaculately clean. Decor is extremely pleasant. There is gentle music playing on the corridor of the hotel which is a fantastic idea in terms of privacy. Plenty of options for breakfast. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to family and friends.

Let me start by saying that we ended up here with a Smartbox received as a gift for the whole family. We find ourselves in a quadruple room, with a mattress on the floor and only two single blankets for four people... The two boys await us and receive us kindly... Then, we lost track of them for three days. We are verbally assured of breakfast, as was indicated in the Smartbox. We discover that we have to have breakfast in the bar/grocery shop below. The first morning we go and the gentleman at the bar didn't know anything about it, but he welcomed us with great kindness anyway. Too bad that, not knowing anything, he had very little assor**ent even though it was 9 in the morning. However, breakfast consists of a coffee and a croissant. The next day, Sunday, we were left empty. Bar closed, guys unreachable by phone. Keep this in mind if you end up here on Sunday. I would add that the cleanliness is discreet, but it could be done much better. Balcony unreachable because blocked by a bed. Except for the location, which is undoubtedly convenient for reaching the center on foot and for getting around by car. And except for the availability of making a coffee independently and for free, which alleviated the pain of breakfast for us. The car park mentioned on the site consists of a public car park a few meters away, where it is not certain that you will always be able to find a space. Disappointing experience... They definitely still have a lot of work to do to reach adequate standards.
