“Nice Resort on Long Beach” Want a Sands is a nice resort on one of the best beaches in Thailand. Pool Access room was excellent and the buffet breakfast was very good. Lots of variety for either western or Thai food and very tasty. The staff at the resort are top-notch. Derek the manager and his team are committed to you enjoying your stay at the resort. Lots of families at the resort but also a great location for couples wanting to experience a wonderful resort on a beautiful beach in Koh Lanta. Highly recommend “Fabulous location on the beach! ” Fabulous hotel overall. Fantastic location next to the beach, and there was so many pools to use. We had a room with pool access and it was fantastic. The only thing, I wish the fitness room would’ve been slightly bigger but it was still good. Would definitely stay here again! All the staff at reception were lovely and made sure to always help when it was needed! Definitely recommend.

We chose Twin Lotus because it is adults only. It was romantic, peaceful, lovely, and we will definitely go back. We selected a room in the back as it was cheaper and we did not need to be on the beach. There are several,pools to choose from. The ine at the beach can get filled by 0830 but we always managed to get chairs with an umbrella. If you do not occupy your chair they remove the towel but leave your belongings. We took chairs that had a book on the side table. The book owner came and we explained no towels were on the chair. She knew the rules and said she would choose a beach chair instead ( along the beach are chairs but no umbrellas). We were thrilled she was so nice. The breakfast buffet is standard and plentiful. All the choices were delicious. No flies or ants anywhere. You may see an occasional meandering water monitor but they walk past you. The gym is immaculate and adequately equipped. The spa is wonderful with well- trained staff. We had dinner there a few times and the food was very good. There are places in the little streets behind the hotel and along the beach and next door, but Twin Lotus food was better though a bit more costly. Happy Hour drinks were good. We had a Go Dive snorkel dive tours to Koh Haa and a car ride to Old Town. Recommend both. The people in Old Town were exceptionally nice and the little museum is quaint. Eateries along their street are good. Allow two hours for Old Town not including the drive to and from. The next time we stay at Twin Lotus we will go to Phi Phi but have been before. Twin Lotus has many books to borrow located inside breakfast restaurant, There are buggies to drive you to and from your room or villa if you have mobility issues. Do not bring glass bottles or glass to the swimming pool. Any wait staff will give you a plastic mug or ”glass” to drink your beer or drink in the pool or at the pool. Please read the rules at pool entrance and follow them to keep yourself and others safe. The resort is mostly European people and everyone, young couples and older ones, singles, and all were cordial and respectful.

The hotel is right next to the beach, so it's a one-story house. The hotel is simple and small, with a unique style. The staff are warm and attentive, and you can communicate in simple English. I booked a room with two double beds and one single bed, which is perfect for children. The sea view is nothing to say, it feels great to watch the sea after breakfast! Although the pool is not large, it is enough for children to play. Last year I stayed at Ao Nang Beach. To go to ROK Island, I had to pick up the car and take the boat for another 2 hours. This year, I stayed at this hotel. The speedboat of the alloy double hull can be picked up by the beach. I will pick up guests along the coast to the south It is very convenient to get to ROK Island in 1 hour. There are various restaurants on the street outside the hotel, which are 711 for 3-5 minutes from left to right. However, our four-day lunch and dinner were all served in the hotel restaurant. The dishes were clean and tasted good. There is no bustling commercial area here, it is a quiet place, suitable for a rest and soak in a hotel. The child did not want to leave in the end, and will come to his house tomorrow.

Stayed here as part of two families travelling round Thailand, with 3 young children in tow. Really family friendly and had a lovely infinity pool which overlooks the sunset every evening. Room - cute bungalow type rooms with basic essentials. AC worked well and WiFi in rooms with a lovely balcony to relax on. On a steep hill but nothing too far. Breakfast - tasty and fairly basic but does the job! We ate a few lunches here and the food was great including the beach bar. Spa - best massage we had in Thailand! Beautiful relaxing semi outside area with the breeze blowing in and birds tweeting. Friendly staff and highly recommend!

A hotel with a beautiful garden by a very nice beach. Nice swimming pools, normal food, nothing fancy. However, in Thailand it is best to be in the city. The rooms are very large, you have to wait a bit for hot water, but I assume that in Ko Lancia they don't know the water circulation system 🙈 The hotel is worth recommending, definitely a plus, as a starting point for various trips around Ko Lanta and the surrounding islands. Ko Lanta itself, I am delighted with the climate, views, cuisine, and very nice Thai people. From trips I recommend snorkeling or diving to Ko Ha, Ko Bida, Phi Phi. Super kayak trip in the Andaman sea and mangrove forests. A visit to the elephant sanctuary is also interesting. Trips bought at local offices, much cheaper than from Itaka's office. Thailand is amazing, I will definitely come back to it.

Sri Lanta Resort: Highly recommended Stayed at Sri Lanta Resort for 5 nights and had an extremely enjoyable/relaxing experience. The room was top shelf. Nice big comfortable bed with a fantastic view over-looking the sea. Very clean. Great air-con. Mini-fridge. Balcony. Extremely nice bathroom with double sinks. Give the room two thumbs up. A little bit of a walk up-hill but it’s not a mountain. Easy solution if you rent a scooter. Food was really good. Good balance between Thai and western food. Fruit shakes were on point. Restaurant is on the beach with a great sunset. Ordered room service with a pizza one evening. The manager and staff were beyond amazing. Nice and friendly. When checking-in to the resort, the manager escorted us to the hotel room himself. He was deadly awesome. Providing so much useful information on: what to do, where to go, how to do it etc. Great recommendations during our visit on the island. And extremely helpful. Transport your luggage up and down the hill to & from your hotel room when checking-in & checking-out was a bonus. Also, the staff were exceptional with transportation to and from Ko Lanta (pick up & drop off). Resort is quiet and spacious. A great place to do some relaxing. Chill out on the beach or hang out by the pool; both are nice relaxing options. There are 3 pools on the resort. The hotel is located in the middle of Ko Lanta island. So again, hiring a scooter is recommended. Kept it simple and rented from the hotel itself. Mu Ko Lanta National Park is a 20-minute ride south. Lanta Old Town is a 20-minute ride east. There are a small handful of good restaurants within walking distance too. If you are in the mood for a tasty burger, I highly recommend Hungry Shack just up the road (5 mins walk north). All in all, Sri Lanta is a great resort and highly recommended.

Unfortunately the stay was a little bit tainted by the lack of sleep- we had a room facing the road and were awoken by the hotel security alarm every night between 1-3am. It seemed a dog was setting off the alarm but it was just a bit disappointing that it wasn’t til our 5th night of being woken up that they turned off the alarm Room- overall the room was kept quite clean, and was fairly basic and maybe not as modern as other places. Shower was ok but the temperature was hard to stay constant and kept burning hot Location- on long beach the location was excellent, close to many other restaurants and bars and most people rent bikes to get around this island which I felt safe doing from the hotel Facilities- pool is excellent, beautiful infinity with a view of the beach. Lots of loungers which do get snapped up pretty fast but the hotel has a policy to try to avoid people reserving loungers. Massages also available on the beach next to the pool and hotel restaurant (though more expensive than other places nearby) serves good food and has a good happy hour on its cocktails which are great.

The most satisfying hotel of this Tyrande trip is the Layana Hotel on Koh Lanta. It is quiet and comfortable. It is only for adults. The beach is 40 minutes away from the room. The restaurant is also facing the sea. The breakfast is rich in variety , Watching the sea while eating delicious food is so healing! Sindee, the hotel housekeeper, is a Chinese who has worked in Thailand for many years. He is warm and kind, which makes us feel very safe. The other hotel staff are also very enthusiastic. Our flight time is just in line with the hotel pick-up time, and the pick-up girls have hotels The nanny car picked us up, and the general manager came out to see us off before we left. Next time I have a chance to visit Koh Lanta, I would like to continue to live here. The price/performance ratio is very high!

Very nice resort with beautiful grounds and a nice pool area. Located on the far north end of the beach, it is quiet and peaceful. The restaurant has good food, although a bit over priced for the location. The rooms are large and we'll equipped. Our room had a couple of minor issues such as the shower head and the a/c leaking. The thatched roofs are in need of repair, but it looks like some work is being done. Overall a great experience and we would stay here again. Just note that some sea view rooms are actually the bay side, not the beach. Oh, and the staff are super friendly and helpful!!

Advantages: The room we stayed in was a new independent room. The equipment was very good. It was much better than some of the room photos I had seen in previous reviews. The environment was great, with birds singing and flowers fragrant. It was also very quiet at night. The beach at the hotel was great, better than Ao Nang. It's indeed much better. The hotel provides 2 bottles of mineral water daily. The hotel has high WIFI coverage and the Internet speed is very fast. Disadvantages: There are a lot of mosquitoes. You need to prepare mosquito repellent equipment when you check in. It is not very convenient to go shopping in the hotel. It takes more than 10 minutes to get to the nearest 711 by car. There are not many choices for eating and so on. It is not special. In addition, the hotel's fresh water system is not Very good. The tap water has a salty taste and is not suitable for drinking. The breakfast is a little simple and basically the same every day. But it doesn't matter. Our stay was quite comfortable and we will continue to choose to stay here if we have the chance.
