This was our second stay in this hotel, our previous stay was exactly a year before. We returned because we enjoyed our previous stay so much and it's an ideal base for cycling up the Chamrousse. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The rooms are not huge but good enough and I think most, if not all have some form of balcony. There is a nice pool that we used on arrival and was a really bonus in the exceptionally hot weather. However, where we were disappointed was with the food. Last time it was gourmet standard, and practically silver service. This time it was unimaginative and basic. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with the food, it was just very ordinary. For starter we had a pea gazpacho with bacon chips, for main it was a chicken breast with roast new potatoes and spinach, the dessert was a vacherin. It wasn't food to excite and didn't justify the 43 euro cost. It didn't match our experience of a year before. The only saving grace was a decent bottle of wine.

We so enjoyed our time at Les Mesanges. Beautiful surroundings, quiet rooms and a beautiful pool. A great place to relax! We would definitely return for the proximity to the mountains and the helpful staff and beautiful setting

A big thank you to Manon at the reception who raised the level of welcome. The restaurant staff could be more pleasant and friendly. Especially Chilean "Jennifer" should learn manners or change professions.

What a truly wonderful place to stay and eat. I wish we had stayed longer to be able to use the swimming pool. The room we had wasn't overly large, but had everything we needed and an extremely large balcony which again had we stayed longer we would have used. The views from the terrace are spectacular towards the Vercors and the Chartreuse massif, so we took our breakfast here the morning we left. The staff are very welcoming and obviously take pride in their hotel: I believe it's a family run hotel.? If we are in the region again we will stay for longer, as there are both walks and cycle routes/ climbs around Chamrousse which is not far away. The food in the restaurant is excellent, but I will leave a separate review for that.

Etwas älteres Hotel im Umland von Grenoble. Geräumiges Zimmer, ansprechend renoviert, sauber, mit separatem Bad und Toilette, bequeme Betten und grossem Balkon, mit traumhafter Aussicht. Das Abendessen war auf der schönen Terrasse möglich, doch leider setzte eine externe größere Gruppe ihren Unterhaltungswert bis spät in die Nacht fort, so dass die Nachtruhe verzögert einsetzen konnte. Erst nach erfolgreicher Abklärung per Email und Telefon war es möglich, im hoteleigenen Restaurant zu Speisen. Das Frühstück verlief ein wenig chaotisch, da der Kaffeeautomat ausgefallen war und die Getränke frisch zubereitet werden mussten. Ansonsten war alles vorhanden und wurde auch verzögert nachgefüllt, die Tische wurde nicht abgeräumt und gereinigt. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden und Internet funktioniert einwandfrei. Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht.
