Bayview Lakefront Inn

This motel has a beautiful location right on the lake shore with a nice beach. Our room had a beautiful view of the water from two sides of the room. And we were able to park right next to our room so it was easy to run outside and get things from the car. The wood paneling in the room was really beautiful and the bed was nice and comfy. On the minus side, the space in the room was very limited both in the room itself and in the bathroom. This is an older motel and I'm assuming the lack of space is a reflection of when it was built. The shower is certainly a vintage one. There does seem to be a more modern section of the motel and I would assume that some of the negatives would not appear in the newer section but then you'd lose the beautiful view and being able to park right next to your room. One other negative is the driveway into the motel. It's very steep and it's hard to see what traffic is coming from the left as you exit.

The pet fee was listed as 25 dollars per animal per stay but when i got to the property i was told it would be 80 dollars for my 2 dogs

The lake view was amazing but the room was dirty. Didnt meet the staff. The office had closed before we arrived so we went next door to their sister company and picked up our room key. It was a second story room and there were no room numbers on the doors, except for the first door. We guessed correctly which room was ours and tried the key. There were cobwebs in the bathroom and the floor didnt look like it was cleaned in a while. The bed was questionable so we only used the sheets. We didnt need the air conditioning. I guess you get what you pay for. It had a 7.4 rating so we expected better than it was.

The room had a terrible mold smell. Everything was outdated. The safe didn’t work. The bathroom was disgusting. The shower head was barely functional. The bed was very uncomfortable. People upstairs were extremely loud…not that the hotel can control that part but if everything else would have been to standard that may have been overlooked. The best part of the stay was being able to connect to Netflix on the TV.

The bathroom shower. Shower took forever to warm up and then never got hot shower level. The rest of the room is nice. If they could fix the shower we'd stay again.

bathroom is like a phone booth. poor house cleaning. staff is lazy. rooms are not as advertised in online nor guide profiles. would not stay here again even if NO other rooms were available in the area.

This property is in a nice location. We checked in a little early and had to wait for clean towels. We noticed the coffee pot in the room had not been emptied or cleaned from prior guests. The refrigerator made a terrible vibrating sound. The staff were friendly and accomodating.

The remote for tv did not work, room had cobwebs, very noisy place, no ice machine on premises. Very thin blanket and sheet was dirty. Would never stay there again. Very overly priced $168 for two full beds, no queens at all. Was a dive..

i was shown three rooms all three were very dirty, had to cancel and go to another hotel. Horrible experience.
