I stayed to walk the CTC across England. It's right next to the train station, so you can see the train passing through the window, which was very romantic. I can hear a little bit of the train passing by. The room was also very comfortable!

Lulu was a fantastic host and was very keen on making our stay comfortable. Its a small town lodging in a quiet part of the Lake District, so come to enjoy personable, relaxed lodging, not the Waldorf Astoria. Clean, quiet, breakfast if you care to, pubs and food close by with wonderful people to meet...a beach 5 min walk, fantastic country to drive and see...a great stay!

I needed somewhere reasonably priced for an overnight stay with an early departure. Lulu’s ticked the boxes. The place is really clean, really convenient & really comfortable. Lulu contacted me & explained the check in rules as I was arriving late, & then met me to ensure I had everything I needed. I’d recommend this place if you have similar needs. It’s in an old railway building which overlooks the station platform too, which adds character.
