Premier Inn Saffron Walden hotel

Location convenient for family get together. There’s wasn’t very much service. I realized later you needed to request clean sheets or towels or a room cleaning so I only had the towels changed once and the floor wasn’t vacuumed. The price was competitive with other hotels in town and there’s a discount store and supermarket in the plaza adjacent to the hotel. Mostly satisfactory

The hotel offers a reasonable price with great value for money. The bedroom is cosy, clean, and well maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, making it suitable for both short visits and longer stays. I would happily stay here again.

Spent a week at Saffron Walden Premier Inn. We've stayed there before as we have family living near the hotel. Comfortable rooms, more than adequate breakfast and restaurant for evening meal if required. Receptionists Andrea and Emma were very welcoming and very helpful if we needed anything. Andrea remembered us from previous visits which was helpful. Emma I believe will be going on maternity leave soon so we wish her well with that. Everything we would expect of temporary "home" for our stay with very helpful staff like Andrea and Emma making it worth the while,

I have been coming here with my family just after it first opened approx 2022. Always very clean, great breakfast, comfortable beds and friendly service.

Always enjoy our stays at the Saffron Walden Premier Inn. Great family room and staff are wonderful, professional and approachable. Nothing is too much trouble.

Stayed here on my route north for work. Found the staff ti be attentive and kind. The dinner was of a great standard and staff were confidently asking for reviews so they know what they do and they do it well.

I had booked this hotel as a convenient overnight stop on my way to a funeral. The disastrous journey there ended with me arriving late evening in a breakdown truck with my car on a trailer. Emma on reception was wonderful, so kind, empathetic, generous with her time and suggestions and went out of her way to make sure I had a hot meal and that I felt safe. The next morning she was back with Bea and Lucy who all made sure I knew how to get matters sorted, made sure I had eaten, gave me clear directions and all with such cheerfulness and warmth I was really taken aback. Lovely team of people who seem to genuinely care for each other and their guests.

Had dinner in the hotel restaurant. Quite busy but food was very good and service by Lewis was excellent.
