overall: Definitely the best accommodation in Saariselkä Geographically located at almost the highest point We saw the unforgettable Aurora on the first night we stayed 😭🥺 And it’s really obvious! ! ! ! The hotel does not have much unnecessary light pollution It’s just perfect for taking aurora photos with clear faces. The room type we booked is a cabin in the building. Highly recommend everyone to book this room type The design of the building within the building is really comfortable. There is also extra space for luggage, so it won’t be too crowded. Large floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to easily see the entire snow scene There is also a balcony where you can go out There are also plastic snowboards to play with outside the door of the room. Everyone has a smile from the time they check in at the front desk The service attitude is super good! After staying two nights we decided to book another night This time I stayed in a glass house It’s amazing though! But I would recommend the cabin more Oh, there’s more! Be sure to try their sauna Super big, super comfortable and very reasonably priced transportation: I think it is more comfortable to drive by yourself if you come to Saariselkä. Although the ski resort, the entire town and the entire hotel are not far from each other, driving will make traveling much more convenient. It will not be difficult to drive on the way up, and you will see awesome scenery. The view, overall very convenient. Breakfast: Sufficient portions, all you can eat salmon and various fish, together with beautiful views, the overall experience is very good Dinner: The hotel provides dinner at the same place in the evening. I personally think it is worth a try. In addition to the atmosphere, the food is also very delicious! It is recommended to dine at sunset, everything is beautiful!

The room is clean and tidy. It is a small duplex. You can open the window and go out to the small balcony to enjoy the natural scenery and the Aurora. There were reindeer walking early in the morning. The restaurant in the hotel is also good, the scenery is very good, but there is very little food. Reindeer steak is the main food, but the taste is unacceptable to most people. There are few places to eat, drink and play nearby.

The hotel knew that we had to catch a flight early in the morning, so they specially prepared sandwiches and drinks for us, which was very considerate.

The attention given by Charlotte and Niina at Reception; Cass and Julia the event booking team; Racine and Kalle, and one other driver; and Maria the waitress in the restaurant was marvellous, each and every one of them went above and beyond to ensure our four day stay was amazing. The room was spotless and very warm with great views, especially the morning sunrise. The food for breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious with lots of choice. Meals when out on excursions tended to be freshly made home-made soup and bread, salads, and cake with custard. Every excursion was fabulous, exciting and thrilling. From seeing the Northern Lights to Raindeer Hurding, Snowmobiling at night-time and Husky trail riding all in small groups with individual attention; definitely a holiday to make memories. We booked via Vaycay Travel.

We really loved this hotel. It is beautifully situated at the top of a ski resort, and a prime spot for viewing northern lights if you’re so lucky. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant and took an excursion with them that is hard to top: we were taken by bus then snowmobile into a clearing where we got to feed hundreds of reindeer and learn more about the Sami. Yes, this place is expensive but it offers an epic vacation. We can’t wait to go back.

We loved this hotel, it is utterly beautiful! The room we had was quite small for a family of four but very cosy (especially the little room upstairs), warm and spotlessly clean. Views are amazing. Staff were very helpful. Only negative if taking small children is the phenomenally steep stairs/ladder to the upper floor.

Perfect location to see the Aurora, excellent food & all the activities you could ever want. The staff were incredibly diligent especially since we had a few serious food allergies. Husky sledging & reindeer feeding a highlight. Definitely recommend.

Got good service when my wife had an accident on a toboggan and thank then for that but this hotel is missing a massive trick here. After a day of activities there is no where to relax at the property . The reception area has a bar but no where for hardly anyone to sit and enjoy a drink so it forces people back to their room which incidentally has doors that rattle all night and you can barely sleep . No cleaners in your room the entire stay and when you leave to go home you all have to struggle in the snow up an icy hill your self with your cases. Near on killed me . No porter service and barely no staff to be seen.

Our group stayed in 3 Aurora Glass Cabins for 5 nights in mid-November. Cabins were great and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was plentiful and very generous. All the activities were well planned and fun. We were lucky enough to see some good snow over the 5 days and also to see the amazing northern lights. But what made our stay were the very friendly and helpful staff. We loved our stay.

Very disappointing Food absolute slop. Not editable. Breakfast buffet awful. Afternoon tea was Fish paste or hummus sandwiches. They cancelled activities and gave no alternate. View from £8k cabin for 3 nights was of shed, see image. Very very disappointing place. Whole family upset ,

Our whole trip was unreal, Our first experience in Lapland and definitely one to remember. Accommodation was clean, the food was nice. Staff were all friendly. My only feedback would be there isn’t enough room for luggage / getting changed etc on your checkout days. It was really unorganised. There were people and luggage everywhere and the people what were still on there holidays were in the same area either waiting to go on an excursion and hanging around. I feel there should be a completely separate area from the main reception where you go once you have checked out. Other than that no problems, I would recommend

Spent the weekend at the hotel. Everything about the trip was so easy and well managed. The hotel seems to pride itself on helping you make this a great and easy vacation. They helped with all transfers, excursions, dining the works. The Activities staff is so eager to help you with picking the right excursions for you that really if you dont like something its your fault... :) they will answer any and all questions in advance to help you. Overall fantastic stay, weather is beyond the hotel's control and yes sadly it was less than optimal, but still enjoyed the entire trip.

Hotel in a beautiful location to see the northern lights. Hotel with a beautiful and clean room in a spectacular position to see a Lapland landscape. A good restaurant and a good breakfast. The staff of the restaurant is good, but the staff of reception should be more kind. For 4 stars hotel we expected more servicies. (e.g. a shuttle to reach the village center) and more competent staff for the activities. Good experience in Lapland.
