Buransh Heli Resort

One of the best properties in and around Guptakashi.. Though little way from Phata and Sersi helipads but has its own helipad which is connected with Dehradun-Badri Kedar helicopter flights. Amazing location and good food. Very helping ***agement..Great staff. The property is having an attractive lawn and play area from where you can have breathtaking views of Himalayan range specially Chaukhamba and Kedarnath range

We stayed here before making our way to Kedarnath. The resort had an AMAZING view. I loved it. The food was good. The service was wonderful, everyone was warm and hospitable. Having tea in the garden with a view of the mountains was such an unforgettable experience. The room and bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff were so kind and helpful, I had forgotten my phone charger and they kept it for me. If ever I am making such a trip again, I will definitely stay here again.

Looking at its website photos, the location and scenic beauty is very good which attracted us to stay at this place. Unfortunately, as Its website boosts of Luxury cottages, but lacks in basic amenities, like, room heaters or air conditioning, Tea kettle, room service- no intercom facility and top of it congested small cottages of area approx.150 sq ft. and is highly priced at 10K plus. Also, it promotes and as the name signifies, heli-resort, but the helicopter services have seemed to be abandoned since long and even their ticket counter/shed is in dilapidated condition. It is almost 3 kms uphill from the main highway and the approach road is also not maintained.

We stayed here in our recent visit to Kedarnath. The location is great with Mountain view and snow filled peaks. The room facilities are not that great.Lot of things were not working or had issues. e.g the fan was making huge noise so you can't sleep at all. Also I think the hotels should improve the road as with rain the access road is very muddy.
