We stayed at the Maison des Ocres for two wonderful days in mid-June. We had stayed there previously, in September of 2019, and we very happy to return to this beautiful hotel. The excellent location is perfect for visiting Roussillon and many of the nearby Luberon villages. Olivier and Julie are new owners since our last stay and they have done an amazing job with their renovations. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a little balcony overlooking the beautiful countryside. We enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool which was very refreshing after a hot summer day of sightseeing. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner in their restaurant, adjacent to the pool area. The service and food were both outstanding. The prior 5* hospitality experience of the new owners is definitely reflected in the quality and value of the hotel and restaurant. We will definitely return to the Maison des Ocres on our next visit to the Luberon.

We spent a week in this wonderful, family-run hotel in the heart of Provence. Olivier and his wife Julie suggested places to visit and activities to do, which were all well worth the time. Clean rooms, great service, good breakfast and a wonderful and private pool area. You get more than you would expect from a three star hotel. The newly opened restaurant serves fish as well as local dishes with a nice selection of local wines. Definitely recommended.

We had spent a few days near Orange and wanted to explore a different part of Provence. I picked Roussillon as it seems so beautiful (it is) and then found this lovely hotel. It’s perfectly positioned at the edge of the town, with its own private parking. You can be in the centre of the village in 10 minutes. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful: very welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant the first night, which was excellent, and the owner recommended several restaurants for us on the Monday night when the hotel restaurant was closed. The rooms have great views over the Provençal countryside and are well equipped. The swimming pool is quite small but the area around it is lovely and well shaded. The breakfast is huge with lots of choice. All in all an excellent location and stay.

The staff was very friendly and their service was excellent. I had a beautiful view from my terrace and the proximity to the center of the city was good. Everything was in easy walking distance. I would definitely recommend it. For English speakers the staff was fluent.

The facilities are a bit contemporary, in a fabulous quiet location near a fabulous very old hill town. Nice pool, now a restaurant (dinner only) with a lovely menu. Best: owners Julie & Olivier. We’ll return again to see them. Excellent bicycling in area — also Mt Ventoux.

Free parking opposite hotel. Check in a little unfriendly but got better as the week progressed. We booked an attic room - watch your head but outdoor terrace was great. Good location for the village. WIFI was good. We ate at the hotel resto which was excellent.

We had a excellent stay in this hotel. We stayed in an attic room with terrace - being an attic room this obviously had challenges in terms of room height. This was more than made up for by the fabulous views from the terrace. The air conditioning was efficient, the bed was comfortable and there was a kettle, mugs and glasses. Parking is free in the next door public car park. There is a relaxing pool area with plenty of shade and sun loungers. The hotel is a short walk from the village. The owner was welcoming.

it's a good hotel, with good breakfast and good parking. The bed is small and you struggle a bit, plus the shower is just a weird design, but the staff is friendly and the breakfast is good. The pool is across the street. The biggest problem in Roussillon is that everything shuts down at 8PM...yes...all restaurants. So... good luck if you want to stay for a drink
