The hotel itself is very good. The pool area is small but is on the 9th floor so has a good view. Gavin at the pool bar was extremely friendly & helpful. More seats/Sun lounges are needed & more shade. If the 4 cabanas were taken out there would be a lot more room for seating & a huge shade could be put up. The staff are very friendly although there wasn’t enough staff on when we had dinner. I couldn’t find anything on the menu I could eat as I have food intolerances. I had to seek out a waitress & ask for help. Thankfully ‘Jenny’ spoke with the chef & I had fish & salad. (It did still cost $42 which was the price for the fish meal on the menu). We waited for well over an hr for our meals & my husband’s was not what he ordered. Due to the fact we had waited so long he agreed to eat it. Bit of a disappointing experience. We didn’t have breakfast at the restaurant as we weren’t able to use my Accor card on a public holiday. I can’t justify spending $70 for the two of us when there’s not a lot of food options for me. We ended up sharing a room service meal which was good.

We had an unfortunate time in October 2019 were our father had to have a quadrupal heart bypass. We looked at places to stay close to Liverpool hospital. We ended up staying at the El Toro at Liverpool. The Welcome we got was nothing but AAA class, the service we got in the pub and restaurant that is attached to the motel again AAA class.The meals that we had all fresh and beautiful. To name two of the staff although all staff were very friendly Jay and especially Cassie went rite out of their way to make sure that we were happy. Well done keep up the good work. Cheers. We had confirmation for a 12 noon check in via email. When we arrived I was told that we do not do 12 noon check in times? I explained to the lady on reception that we had confirmation via email that it was confirmed for a 12 noon check in. When I showed her, I got a negative response. We where told that I would be contacted as to when the room will be available. We had to wait 2 hours before our room was ready, which was at 2pm. We where missing shampoo's and body wash, I had spoken to reception about this and was told that room service will drop them of to us, Well it took them 2 days to get to us after asking several times. Not a great 4 night experience this time around staying here.

for australia it was good comfortable , i just needed sleep early they let me check in early. usually this chain of hotel i never stay in other countries there over prized, very basic and tiny dull rooms. for sydney however for this location it was good , does fit 3 people in one room too. still a dodgy company though , my girlfriend worked for this hotel as cleaner in elizabeth st melbourne 2012 , they always get chinese cleaners and never pay them super , just $10 hour. very unethical management and bosses as that franchise, this location i saw aussie cleaners and i presume they were treated,better.

I chosed to stay in this hotel because of its location. I want to be close to the Canley Vale area plus I'm an Accor member so this hotel was the best fit for searches. I was really impressed. I arrived 2 hours early for check up but I was pleasant surprised that .t room and key was all ready to go. The lady at the reception was fantastic she gave me a clear run down of all the facilities and directions. I had a suite and that was outstanding. Had a lounge area, well equipped kitchen, bathtub in bathroom, nice balcony overlooking the pool and a nearby cricket ground. The bed was great nice firm mattress. A very small bad mark with the electronic blackout curtains. I learned how to use it easily but there positions were not totally tight to the end so light was getting in early in the morning. I had breakfasts included and that was great with excellent selections of food. It is right next to the Liverpool Catholic Club so just need a temp pass and you can enjoy the restaurants there and looks like there was a big playground for kids inside. Outside there is a sports building with an ice rink and mini golf. I dont have my kids with me for this trip but I can see they will be very busy if they come here. Parking is free either right outside the hotel uncovered or a little bit further undercover at the Catholic club. All free. The staff was generally well mannered apart from a man on Day 2 at the reception who probably was having a bad day. Special mention to my fellow kiwi from Huntly who looked after me outside the club entrance we had a warm catch up about NZ where I'm from. Check out was super quick and I was well looked after. Overall, if I want to stay around the Liverpool area I would definitely return here again.

Very good stay here at the ibis for what i needed at the time. Very quiet comfortable living for the price and close to everything i needed. Comfortable bed and quiet clean room. Across the road literally got some good fast food joints oportos harrys pies and peas and the kebab shop otherwise a minute or two walk from kfc and maccas if in fix of a good meal and dont want to drive other wise vending machine on the groundlevel if not very picky Counter staff were fantastic and helpful even when i had to check out a day earlier due to unforseen circumstances even let me know that my phone charger i left behind in a rush would be put out the back which even idk when ill swing by again this year but the thought and gesture was enough to show good form from the manager!

Lovely lady booked us into a ground floor room with parking outside the door. Just on a one night stay on trip from Qld to Victoria. Bed very comfortable and shower plenty of pressure which I love. We ate at the Chinese restaurant on site which was excellent food. Took off early in the morning and left my iPad behind in the room. Had a phone call from reception when the cleaner found it and took it to reception. The receptionist said no problems, they would express post it back to me that day, which they did. Good old fashioned service and honesty. Thank you to all concerned.

King size room was very comfortable. We were there for a conference and the food was excellent along with everything else except for some significant issues with the audio visual. This unfortunately created problems throughout the day despite the efforts of our experienced AV team. This was very frustrating and unfortunate.

The place was great ..the staff are very accommodating and they are always attentive to our needs ..great stay and I will recommend to my friends who want to visit katoomba to find a nice and good hotel

Excellent Property. Finishes level at a 5 star level. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking within the property. Walking distance to Liverpool Hospital. Only issues: Shower Head and water pressure - probably the worst i have ever experienced in a hotel. I understand 5 star water conservation, but the lack of flow made it difficult to shower under.
