The Lodge, Blacktown - Sydney

Stayed here 1 night with my daughter and 2 granddaughters. This is a relatively new establishment. The room was very clean. The beds and pillows were the best and most comfortable I have ever found. The room was very spacious as was the bathroom with a great shower. This is an amazing sports venue with all sorts of sports. It also caters to people not there for sports. It has a coffee shop. The security is excellent and free parking with excellent wifi. The only downside was that they charge a service fee for using cards but do not accept cash which I believe is wrong. If you don’t accept cash you shouldn’t charge a card fee.

This was a great find for our family. The Hotel is located within a sports park with an amazing kids playground, lots of fields and other activities right out the door. Also a reasonably safe space for kids to run around. Opposite the hotel is a baseball stadium for the local Sydney team. We were lucky that there was a series of games on while we were there and they let us in free because we stayed at the hotel. Close to the hotel is Raging Rapids water park and the Sydney Zoo. You can also get to the local train station for a hassle free ride into the city. We were given a spacious room, that was simple but everything we needed. It seemed the hotel only opened recently so the staff were finding their way but super friendly. Highly recommend this place.

I booked this property for the location as it is near Westpoint Blacktown. It is very convenient. I also booked it for the pool and restaurant but both were unavailable. There was no microwave in the room so I couldn't even purchase any food that I could hear up later and I was staying for over a week! The staff were lovely though as all these issues came from the council so not their fault. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel itself was that the bed and pillows were too soft for me.

Great stay for a short trip in rooty hill. Very helpful staff, large rooms and tv selection. A little bit further out from nearest supermarket and ammenities but is expected. Cafe closes in afternoon so be sure to head out for dinner or have something delivered.

I love this place, it's great... and the staff are kind, courteous and attentive. Since my last stay, they've added complimentary tea and coffee to the room. It's modern, spacious and very clean, and in a great, quiet location. There is ample parking in close proximity, and the gated security is a bonus. The free guest WiFi is very fast, and it's a nice touch to walk into your room and see a welcome screen with your name on the TV. In the immortal words of Arnold Schwarzenegger... I'll be back!

Nice place, nice staff and security. Beds too soft . For the price of the room there is No complimentary tea & coffee. This is not good at all. All rooms including standard rooms in all motels cater for this. The only hotels that don’t are the budget rooms for around $45-$65 with no staff.

Pros: This is a very new property, with really fast & free Wi-fi. It's located behind an entrance gate (which is locked at night) with ample parking close by. The room and bathroom were both extremely spacious and wheelchair accessible, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Cons: There was a jug and 2 cups in the room, but no tea, coffee or sugar or even a teaspoon. Not really an issue, but rather odd. There was also a pretty bad design fault in the bathroom. If the shower curtain is drawn, it almost completely blocks out the lighting. So you have the options of either showering in the dark, or getting water all over the floor. Again, not really an issue though.

The bed was such a poor quality bed. And only single beds as well

Very comfortable spotless clean rooms....quiet.. lovely staff...would recommend
