"I used it as a place to stay during my trip to Florence. It's a little far from the center of Florence, but you can easily get there by tram. The room had a great atmosphere and was very clean. Also, the breakfast is wonderful. It seems that they have a restaurant attached, and they serve a wonderful breakfast there. This is a hotel I would like to visit again."

However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!"

"We stayed in this beautiful hotel for Epiphany with the whole family, we are two parents with two children. We had a great time and will definitely be back! The hotel is wonderful in an evocative setting, along the Arno, it is also very close to the Ufizzi, the old bridge and the center. The staff is extremely kind and hospitable. For us it has become a place of the heart! Absolutely to try !!! ♥ ️"

"The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout. The hotel is centrally located, so ideal for lots of walking to the main sights in Firenze and within a 10 minute walk from the train station. Unfortunately, the room we had didn't have any view apart from some rooftops. However, we were out most of the time enjoying the food, drinks, and sights of the cobbled streets of the town."

"The receptionists and luggage-storage staff were all friendly and helpful. Although this is a hostel rather than a hotel, we still had a great experience over our expectation. We booked a double bed room with private bathroom, the facilities in the room were limited but it was clean and had a balcony. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, we could see the dome of the Florence Cathedral and beautiful sunset - an absolutely delightful surprise."

"firstly, I realized that the room smelled very bad like someone definitely smorked in it even it is non-smorking room. So, I asked the staff that I can change the room, but that day were fully booked so that I can’t. She also said, next day has a vacant so I can change the room, but finally I couldn't because of the staffs miss communication. Also I asked laundly service but when I came back to the hotel, it is not completed because the staff forgot Sunday is out of service. in the first place, the laundry service cost is too expensive so I dont recommend."

"Lovely hotel with lovely people on it. Very welcoming and friendly. Hotel is very nice, clean and spacious, plus we get upgraded to a room with balcony. Bathroom very spacious too. The hotel area was also nice and save if you happen to walk home late. A bit of a walk from the train station but not far, just 10-15mnts walk. Breakfast was very nice too and they got outdoor rooftop too for breakfast. Would love to come back to this hotel on our next visit. Very reccomended."

"The highest score is 5 points, I can give 10 points. The hotel is a little far from the center of Florence, which is a bit troublesome if you don't drive yourself. It costs 30 euros to take a taxi from Santa Maria Station one way. The hotel is quiet, warm and comfortable. There are slippers, which is rare in European hotels. The hotel breakfast is very rich. Sitting in the yard to eat breakfast, it feels like you can eat for an hour... The hotel courtyard is very comfortable, and there is a swimming pool. It is suitable for two consecutive days."

"It is in the suburbs of Florence, feels relatively safe, and is quite close to the old town. Quite pleasantly surprised, with a retro manor style, comfortable environment, and swimming. It's just that the room equipment is a bit old, the cabinets and other things are relatively antique, and the sound insulation is relatively poor. It depends on whether the style is acceptable to the individual. I personally think it has a unique charm. The mattress is also very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, and the wine for dinner is also good."
