"This is a wonderful hotel I've always wanted to stay at, and it truly lives up to its elegant and beautiful appearance. We were pleasantly upgraded to a higher floor, which had a lovely balcony. From there, you can see the river in the distance and the surrounding landscape. We had a family banquet the night before, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would love to stay here again and strongly recommend it to everyone. The location is a little far, but they provides a complimentary shuttle bus from the subway station to the hotel."

"Excellent Hotel, in a strategic and very beautiful area. The property is very clean and well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. If we were to come back to Taipei, we would definitely stay here again for our stay. Note of merit: for my husband’s birthday they prepared a nice greeting card with a lot of birthday cake of extreme quality pastry. Thank you for the pleasant treatment!"

"The room is quiet and clean with thong, shamboo and body wash still being offered to guest in the room.I had a high and good view from my room.There are 2 train stations nearby the hotel, local train (station behind the hotel) and banana line train about 7 minutesof walk. Also, a local market- Huaxi street tourist night market, We loved so much a local breakfast that served simple boiled meat and noodle soup by an hard-working lady, and a dessert of sticky rice ball covered with lots of blended sesames and some nuts( unsure) in evening. Lots of food that you will not worry being hungry. Self-laudry is about 10 mins walk."

"The Illy coffee and tea at the bar are all complimentary. The A Yuan brand shower gel and shampoo provided in the bathroom smell amazing!! The toilet is very spacious! And it has a bidet, which I absolutely love. The Elite Family Room we booked was huge and easily accommodated 4 people without feeling cramped, perfect for staying with elders. It's a 5-minute walk to Banqiao TRA and HSR stations, making it easy to get anywhere 😍. Downstairs, there's a FamilyMart and Eslite bookstore within a 2-minute walk, which is very convenient. The friendly hotel staff always greet you when you enter the lobby and patiently answer any questions you have. Sometimes they even press the elevator button for you, haha."

"Excellent and very friendly service throughout my entire stay from doorman to concierge to front desk to housekeeping to restaurant to gym. Great location next to Shandao temple MRT and within walking distance to Taipei station, nice restaurants, cafes and the famed Fuhang soy milk. I also enjoyed the excellent lunch buffer at the hotel restaurant Kitchen 12 at incredibly reasonable price. But please note that Marriott Bonvoy platinum elite or higher tier members do not receive the usual executive lounge access or free breakfast if you book via Trip.com (you need to book directly with Marriott to enjoy the benefits)."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, right above Jiantan MRT station, and just over 350 meters from Shilin Night Market, making transportation and dining incredibly convenient. It's also not far from the Grand Hotel Taipei, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, and the National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine. The hotel itself is well-equipped, featuring electric curtains, an automatic bidet toilet, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, and a coffee machine. Breakfast is a mix of à la carte and buffet; the à la carte menu offers 5 main course options, while the small buffet includes various breads, vegetables, fruits, and milk, all of which are quite palatable. However, the front desk staff's service attitude was just average, not as good as what I experienced at the Victoria Hotel. Because of its proximity to the MRT station, rooms facing the mountain (and thus the MRT line) can hear the train noise as the MRT runs above ground in this section. I also highly recommend a ********* restaurant nearby called 'Goose Meat Chuan,' which has a 4.6-star rating on Dazhong Dianping and is only 300 meters from the hotel. Their goose breast, crab roe tofu pot, and taro vermicelli are absolutely delicious! Highly recommended! [Strong]"

"The room was very spacious. Across the street is Laolai Doujiang, which is open 24 hours. It's also very close to the MRT station, making transportation super convenient. Miramar Mall is right next door, so shopping is easy too."

The service was impeccable, with attentive, professional, and always friendly staff. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and very clean, featuring bathtubs fed by the thermal springs, providing a genuine moment of relaxation and well‑being. The facilities are varied and thoughtfully designed, from the communal baths and pools to the relaxation areas, making the experience even more enjoyable. The only minor point concerns the breakfast: while very pleasant and true to local flavors, we found little in the way of sweet options. As French travelers, we might be a bit more particular about this, but it’s really a minor detail compared to the overall quality of the stay. Overall, our experience was very positive. The stay was relaxing and well‑organized, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy a wellness-focused stay in Taipei"

"The location is quiet, close to a shopping mall and within walking distance of the metro, which is very convenient. The lobby is nice and welcoming. However, the room is quite basic and not very modern. It does the job, but it doesn’t feel particularly cozy. That why I didn’t took pictures of the room lol, we didn’t have the breakfast included so I cannot tell you about that. Unfortunately, the pool and some other facilities were closed due to ***** New Year."
