"Our stay in Sanya this time was incredibly comfortable! I have to give a hundred points to Manager Shen at the front desk! We arrived quite early on the day, about two hours before check-in. We were originally just planning to drop off our luggage and explore, but Manager Shen, knowing we were tired, quickly helped us arrange a clean room. It was so thoughtful! Later, we asked him for recommendations on where to eat seafood without getting ripped off and try local specialties, and the places he suggested were truly affordable and fresh, simply amazing! Such dedicated service means we'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Sanya! The room was also great, very clean, and I loved the bathtub on the balcony."

"I had such an amazing stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Sanya Dadonghai Bay. The location is honestly perfect — everything you need is right there. You can simply walk down to the beach, enjoy water activities, and explore so many restaurants nearby. It’s the kind of place where you never feel isolated because there’s always something happening around you. One of the things I loved most is that the hotel is connected to the Shanhaitian Resort Sanya, Autograph Collection. If you’re staying at JW Marriott, you can also enjoy their pools and facilities, which really adds to the whole experience. The hotel itself has so much to offer, especially for families. There are daily kids’ activities, and my son was never bored — there was always something fun planned. The playground is huge and honestly looks futuristic, like something out of a movie. It’s such a dream space for children. They also have a beautiful swimming pool, which makes it even more enjoyable to spend your days there. I also visited Casa Corona Beach Club, and it was such a vibe. The atmosphere, the food, and the whole setting made it a really memorable experience. The spa was another highlight — so relaxing and exactly what you need when you’re trying to unwind and take care of yourself. On top of that, the service throughout the hotel was incredible. The staff really made everything feel smooth, welcoming, and special. It’s honestly just a great place to be with your family. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a beautiful beachfront stay with lots of activities, especially if you’re traveling with kids. It truly has everything — location, experiences, and comfort."

"The environment is fantastic! From my room, I had a beautiful view of the blue ocean. The room itself was spacious and bright, with a balcony perfect for enjoying the scenery. It stayed cool thanks to both air conditioning and a fan, which was great since it was quite hot outside. The service was excellent. Breakfast was included, and on the second day, they even gave us a complimentary bottle of red wine. The hotel also offers a little train ride, which is a lovely way to explore the property at a relaxed pace. The swimming pools are also very good. There's an irregularly shaped pool perfect for a leisurely dip, and a rectangular pool that's open until 10 PM. Free armbands are available, and there are plenty of lounge chairs to relax on after a swim. In the evenings, you can go crabbing by the sea. The hotel provides free sand-digging toys, which are more than enough for catching crabs. Minibar: Stocked with iced Coke and iced Sprite. Photoshoot: You get 10 digital negatives from one travel photoshoot."

"The sea-view room exceeded my expectations! The 270° floor-to-ceiling windows offered an incredible view; I could see the ocean right from my bed. Watching the sunset from the bathtub was an amazing experience. Plus, the beach is right downstairs. The location and ambiance are fantastic. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"Due to noise issues in our previous lake-view family room, we reported it to Gina, who then moved us to a family room in the main building. Overall, this room had lower ceilings and older facilities than the previous one, but it was more spacious. The best part was how quiet it was; after 10 PM, there was virtually no noise outside, which was great for light sleepers. I really appreciate Gina from Guest Services for her attention to detail; she even prepared a small cake for the child, who was thrilled. The hotel pool's bubble activity is every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 PM. My child had so much fun they completely forgot themselves, but then developed a fever that evening. When I asked the hotel for an ear thermometer, they replied that they only had mercury thermometers. How could an A+ parent-child hotel not have an ear thermometer? While an ear thermometer might not be as accurate as a mercury one, it's difficult to use a mercury thermometer with very young children who might not cooperate. Of course, we usually bring our own ear thermometer when we travel, but there are always unexpected situations, like forgetting it this time. Service: Most of the restaurant staff, cleaning ladies in public areas, and bellhops at the entrance actively greeted us, and they were all very good. Getting Around: There's a night market within walking distance of the hotel. The beach is just a left turn out of the hotel and across the road. The hotel can arrange a car to Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, which was a filming location for 'If You Are the One 2' – just ask the Golden Key concierge in the lobby. For other places, you generally need to take a taxi. For example, if you want to go to West Island, it's at least a 45-minute taxi ride. If you're staying for three days or less, I honestly recommend just staying at the hotel. Don't venture out too much, or you'll lose the meaning of a vacation and get too tired. Issues encountered in the room: 1. The most memorable thing was that my child's white socks turned black very quickly after walking on the floor. It seemed the room floor wasn't mopped daily, as I also saw hair near the dining table that hadn't been cleaned up. However, the housekeeping staff were quite considerate; they noticed we needed more water and directly provided 8 bottles. Linens and room consumables were fully replenished after previous guests checked out. But when our extended stay room was cleaned the next day, they took away the child's bathrobe and didn't replace it, nor did they replenish consumables. I had to call later that night to request them. Overall, it was easy to tell that different people were cleaning on different days. 2. There were also some hardware issues, such as the curtain and screen window switches being reversed. The lighting modes were quite unintuitive; for example, there was no night light mode or a mode to only turn on the lights above the bedside table. The shower drain worked better than in the previous room, flowing smoothly without overflowing. However, the hot water in the shower took too long to come out – definitely over ten seconds – so long that I thought hot water wasn't coming out at all. 3. For dining, we only experienced breakfast and the buffet dinner. My child particularly enjoyed the fruit at the buffet dinner and the mermaid show. The food quality overall wasn't particularly outstanding; it was just enough to fill you up, with no dishes leaving a special impression. The photo is of breakfast. Long after checking out, I realized I had left some items, but I didn't receive any call or feedback from the hotel. Although if they had called, I probably would have said to discard them, I wonder if the current hotel process for lost and found items is to wait for guests to call and inquire, otherwise, they assume it's not wanted and dispose of it? We experienced the afternoon tea and travel photography included in the package. We didn't go to the DIY activity."

"Along Yalong Bay, hotels are lined up one after another, and with a few exceptions, their prices are all quite similar. The choice of which hotel to pick really comes down to personal preference. 1. **Choice:** If you're looking for a quieter stay, Hilton or Marriott would be good options, as they don't have too many organized activities. If you want to relax while your kids have plenty of space to burn off energy and learn some skills, MGM is the place to be. They have a wide variety of pools and activities. My nine-year-old learned to surf in just an hour! 2. **Sand:** Lying on the beach is okay, but forget about snorkeling to see fish or anything – there's nothing there, and the sand is quite coarse and uncomfortable underfoot. The lack of fine sand is a big downside. 3. **Activities:** There are lots of activities, which means lots of kids, making it incredibly noisy. 4. **Breakfast:** It's decent, but after 8 AM, you'll have to queue to get in because it gets too crowded. 5. **Afternoon Tea:** The most impressive part for me was the cakes at the chocolate house – they were delicious! Not those mushy, soft types! 6. **Milk Tea:** I found it to be mediocre. The pearls were rock hard, and the tea was very astringent! 7. **Accommodation:** The room was quite spacious, but the facilities are a bit dated. For example, the power outlets and the light control panel. The worst part was that the toilet in my room was leaking, which was really annoying... 8. **Photos:** The beach looks beautiful for photos on a clear day."

"Traveling during the off-season, the hotel kindly upgraded me to a high-floor suite. I could enjoy the outdoor scenery right from my bed, but the view was even more expansive from the large balcony. Both the day and night views were lovely, though the surroundings looked a bit desolate during the day. The room was spacious, with the toilet and shower each in separate enclosures on either side of the bed. There was even a bathtub on the balcony where I could soak while enjoying the view. The 5th floor has a self-service laundry room with detergent provided, and a gym on the same floor. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, including Chinese options like buns, dumplings, noodles, and Western choices like bread and sausages. For transportation, the hotel provides a shuttle service to the bridge head, running every 5 minutes or so. If it's raining or too late, you can call the hotel and they'll arrange alternative transport. Since it rained on the night I checked in, the rooftop open-air sea-view bar wasn't open, so I missed out on seeing the entire Sanya Bay night view. I also didn't get to use the outdoor pool, only taking a quick photo. I hope to have a complete experience next time I visit."

"This hotel was my first choice upon landing in Sanya, and it certainly didn't disappoint! It's only about a 10-minute drive from Phoenix Airport, and they offer complimentary shuttle service, making it perfect for either the start or end of your trip. The room was comfortable, and the bedding was so soft I slept soundly all night. The hotel facilities are incredibly comprehensive – outdoor pools, a fish spa, and a gym are all available, so you could easily spend an entire day there without even leaving. I especially want to commend the service; every staff member, from the entrance to the front desk, was warm and courteous. The front desk processed check-in very efficiently and was always ready to assist with any request. Downstairs, there's a bustling commercial area with plenty of restaurants, so late-night snacks are never an issue, and the scenery is beautiful. For this price, to enjoy five-star service and amenities, it's a no-brainer when you come to Sanya!"

"On the morning of my arrival, I received a call from Chris, our butler, asking about our needs and adding me on WeChat for communication. Even before reaching the hotel, I already felt the attentive service. He proactively sent me information about hotel activities and specialty restaurants on WeChat, which was incredibly detailed and a huge help for someone who hadn't done any prior research. Upon arrival, the hotel staff promptly responded and escorted us to our room. Throughout our stay, any questions I had were answered patiently and promptly via WeChat. When I got sunburned, Chris even thoughtfully helped me find some aloe vera gel. Overall, the service felt professional, attentive, and caring, leaving me with an excellent first impression of Atlantis. Traveling with a three-year-old, I was thoroughly satisfied with everything; we stayed at the hotel and didn't venture out, enjoying our three-day, two-night stay immensely."
