"The Shangri-La was hands down the most unforgettable hotel of our New Year's trip to Guangxi in 2026. Neither the Hyatt in Liuzhou nor the Wyndham in Fangchenggang came close – the Shangri-La was ten times better! From the magnificent lobby and the elegant, tasteful public areas, to the breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views from the 68-meter-high sky lobby, and the meticulous room service – every staff member was warm, friendly, and efficient. Staying at the hotel itself felt like a vacation; there was no need to visit other attractions. It was an experience of art and culture. I highly recommend booking a package that includes afternoon tea. The themed afternoon tea setup was incredibly impressive, making us want to linger forever, as if we had stepped into a fairy tale. The breakfast was equally outstanding. The variety and exquisite quality of the Shangri-La's dining can't be matched by other hotels. I was particularly impressed by the local Guangxi lemon duck and the grilled pork (Mei Rou). The duck was served warm, and the moment it was opened, all the delicious oil flowed out. I couldn't stop at just two or three pieces each time! I even wanted to ask the hotel what brand they use so I could buy some to take home. The hotel offers direct access to MixC Mall, which had lively New Year's Eve festivities. It's also just a 10-minute drive to Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area, and there are several small parks directly opposite. If you take your time, you could easily stay for many days. Both the children and our elderly family members couldn't stop raving about it. We didn't want to leave at all! We'll definitely choose Shangri-La whenever we travel next. "The hotel is easy to find, just around the turn of Qingshan Bridge. The hotel facilities are very distinctive and the room decoration is very Zhuang style. The hotel floor arranged by Li at the front desk is suitable, the room is quite large, and the view from the balcony is good at night. What's more worth mentioning is that the curtains have a very good blackout effect, and the sleep is super comfortable and satisfying. The swimming pool and gym are free to use. The swimming pool is spacious, bright, and has a constant temperature, and the water is clean."

"Overall, I was very pleased with the hotel. It certainly lives up to its reputation as an established 4-star hotel. The rooms are clean, and it offers amenities like an outdoor swimming pool (free with room key) and a tennis court, among other facilities. The hotel's morning tea (dim sum) was delicious! What's even better is that you can order it, and three of us ate our fill for just 98 RMB! Ride-hailing services are also very convenient, readily available, and affordable. What makes it stand out is that this is Guangxi's earliest state guesthouse. Currently, some sections are still under construction and renovation, and I'm really looking forward to the upgrades! I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Nanning!"

"The room was much better than expected. It supports early check-in. Since the flight was early, I arrived at the hotel at 9 o'clock and was able to check in directly. It was really nice to catch up on a nap in the room. The bathroom was very large, with a smart toilet and a drying rack, which was very convenient. The room service responded very quickly and was delivered to the room in no more than 5 minutes after hanging up the phone. The breakfast was also good. The Laoyou noodles were delicious and there were enough varieties. There was also a building block table in the lobby on the first floor, where you can control the children for a short while, which was great!"

"There are not many people staying in the New Year. Morning tea is really cheap. But we have two menus at the hotel for dinner at night. The hotel has two menus. We have one for us. All of them are expensive. Later, I want to add dishes. The waiter took the wrong other menu. There are many specialties on it. Fry is much cheaper than the big menu we gave us before. We asked the waiter why we didn't give us this menu just ordering. The waiter was reluctant to say that this cut leek is really a bit speechless."

The room decoration style is simple and elegant, the bed and pillow are very comfortable, and I fell asleep quickly after touching the pillow. The tropical rainforest landscape of Mingdu Xiaoyuan is unique, and it is very photogenic. The farmhouse dishes in the restaurant are delicious and affordable. Leisure tours around Nanning are highly recommended!"

"An excellent hotel! We were on a family trip, and my sister's family room was impressively spacious with a three-room layout. My room, though not a family room, was also very roomy. The hotel is new and spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were wonderful – so friendly and provided excellent service. It's conveniently located not far from the airport and offers a free shuttle service. Since my sister was a returning guest, for our airport drop-off, they went above and beyond. They arranged for a dedicated staff member to escort us through the VIP channel, saving us nearly an hour. This was incredibly thoughtful! Undoubtedly, the most satisfying hotel stay we've had in Beihai and Nanning."
