"Amazing stay at Yunlu. Amazing service from the wonderful staff. Extremely quiet location. Beautiful scenery around. Great breakfast (no buffet). Large rooms with great views. Even a small pool (more for children). I cannot say enough good things about the amazing service that the staff provided. Joyous staff. Good feelings. Not much English spoken (well basically none as is usual in China based on my experience) but with the help of the various apps and a positive attitude this is practically not a real issue. It can even be fun. Anyway they fulfilled all my requests and more than that (incl. for the breakfast as I suffer from diabetes) and always made sure I was happy and enjoying my stay. The rooms I had (2 stays) were very large. The air conditioning was very efficient and silent. The views were so enjoyable (yes out there in Mingshi there are better views of course but still). The large bed was very comfortable. Big sofa, tables, chairs ... and a lot of space. Nice bathroom with good shower. A fridge was available and included some ”free” drinks. I found the location perfect as it is not in the village itself but on the other side of the little river. So it is very quiet. A very short drive to the village and even walking requires no more than 30 minutes. Restaurants are only available in the village and bike rentals are way cheaper in the village too. I would certainly not recommend the local shop close to the hotel for rentals as the deals proposed are absurd (well prices the owner articulated were simply exorbitant). I will definitely return to Mingshi as I loved the region and there is so much to discover. I will quite certainly look no further than the Yunlu. Location. Peacefulness. But above all because of the extraordinary customer friendly attitude and the good spirit of the ”team”."

"The best experience of a two-day trip to Chongzuo is to book this hotel. The room has a yard that has a Southeast Asian holiday feel. The yard opens to a swimming pool for swimming, which is very convenient. The yard is in the scenic area, and a bamboo raft tour is also provided. The boat drop-off point is right at the hotel, and the route is very nice. The hotel staff is very warm and thoughtful. The toilet is also covered with a disposable toilet cover. Points that can be improved: The hotel meals are not delicious, there are few choices, and the service is average. The bed is 1.2 meters, too small, only suitable for single living, and a little nervous with a baby. After all, it is a pristine place in the countryside, and there are indeed many mosquitoes."

It was so quiet that all I could hear was the rain and my own breathing. I sat in my room, brewed a pot of tea, played some music, and felt utterly calm and relaxed. Jolly's sincere service, preparing a birthday cake for me, booking the restaurant, and a handwritten postcard, made me feel truly cherished. The parting gift when checking out was perfectly tailored to my taste. Finally, a smiling Grace saw me off to my car, bringing a perfect journey to a close. The hostess provided several sets of trendy Dai clothing for free, perfect for those who enjoy taking photos. There are beautiful rice paddies nearby, where you can fish, making it a great place to bring children. The B&B also arranges for a small three-wheeled taxi to be delivered to the hotel for guests to explore, which was a great experience."

"Lovely boutique hotel immersed in the spectacular landscape of Mingshi. Modern, new and well looked after. Free bike rental on site is very convenient, breakfast offers very good variety. Price is high and hotel staff doesn’t speak any English, which made it difficult for us to understand what was on offer. They were very responsive on wechat though. We recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Mingshi."

"Honestly the most beautiful and the best hotel experience I’ve had in China! The hotel is situated in the gorgeous Mingshi village and our stay at Mingshi Yaju gave us complimentary access to the paid scenic area. The hotel is also conveniently 30 minutes from the main attraction - Detian Waterfall. Our stay included delicious breakfast, daily fruits and desserts, complimentary bamboo raft and cycling experience. They also have gym, pool and shuttle amenities.
