Strikingly beautiful. Surrounded by lush, picture-perfect tropical gardens and set on the banks of Mingshi river, at the border of China and Vietnam, this boutique resort is defined by its modernist design, the unmistakable Karst rock formations, and the seductively slow pace of riverside living. This luxurious sanctuary is designed for astute travelers who crave meaningful connections and out-of-this-world experiences.
"I celebrated my birthday at Amanyangyun the day before, and while having drinks, a friend who had just returned from Lux Chongzuo recommended it to me. I booked it right away, and it turned out to be the best decision I ever made. After booking, Jolly from the hotel reached out to me via WeChat to meticulously answer all my questions about room types and activities. She also thoughtfully noted my birthday information to prepare in advance.
Upon arrival, despite the light drizzle, the scenery instantly brought a sense of peace, perfectly aligning with my idea of a restful and serene escape. Jolly handled my check-in, explaining everything along the way, and we had a pleasant chat until she escorted me to my room. The entire process was professional yet genuinely warm.
My reserved room came with a private pool. Even though it was raining, I enjoyed swimming in the rain—it was a unique experience. Outside the window, the mountains were shrouded in mist, the rice paddies were an even richer green from the rain, and occasionally, a bird would fly by. It was so quiet that all I could hear was the rain and my own breathing. I sat in my room, brewed a pot of tea, played some music, and felt utterly calm and relaxed.
Jolly's sincere service, preparing a birthday cake for me, booking the restaurant, and a handwritten postcard, made me feel truly cherished. The parting gift when checking out was perfectly tailored to my taste. Finally, a smiling Grace saw me off to my car, bringing a perfect journey to a close. Many thanks to Jolly and Grace for their hospitality – I will definitely be back!"
