Hilton Garden Inn Detroit Metro Airport

I was greeted warmly. All the employees were nice and did their best to accommodate all my request. I’m not from Michigan, so it seemed pricey for the quality. However this weighed no bearing on my stay. They have a restaurant in the hotel that prepares food, which is convenient - but some things weren’t up to par. For example I got fruit with my breakfast, and the not only looked old but also taste old. With that said - front desk and housekeeping were amazing. Thank you!

Stayed for one night when I was transferred. The hotel has an airport shuttle bus. You need to call the front desk to pick up the phone and wait at the bus pick-up dock. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. As a transit hotel, the price is OK.

Pros: The airport shuttle bus is very convenient, timely, and the service is good; breakfast is ordered, and you can eat very well for just over ten dollars; the environment is not bad, the lobby is very grand, and there are McDonald's and Big Boy fast food nearby Cons: The heater is too loud, don't turn it on when you sleep Summary: Good value for money👍
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Detroit Metro Airport

The environment and service are good. It was when I called the shuttle at the airport, because the language was not available, the front desk was a bit impatient, and everything else was very good. Location, environment, breakfast are good. 24 hours hot water in the lobby, coffee, drinks, and fruit. Bring breakfast. There is a luggage cart. Check out will ask if you need a free shuttle bus. Overall, the price is high near the airport. There are restaurants such as McDonald's nearby.

Booked thru a last minute ”hot” rate 3rd party, for supposedly a top hotel in the airport area. Glad I did not pay full price. Wanted a quick overnight for a super early morning flight. Unfortunately the property was scary and disorienting with its sprawling layout. As a single woman traveling I was surprised my room was located so far away as a choice by the reception staff. The room was not up to sleeping standards, I might as well have crashed in a chair at the airport. For a Marriott supposedly as a top property, this was a very tired, dirty, damp, musty place with dimly lit catacombs hallways. Great setting for a horror flick. As noted my room was so far away, and so remote I didn't feel safe. The door was flat metal, nondescript, like an old motel or solitary confinement. The room was dark and damp. The smell of musty AC hit you upon entry and the AC unit rattled so loudly it was worse than airplane noise. I couldn't bring myself to shower. I put socks on to sleep, what sleep I got. The carpet was disgusting and likely growing fungus at this point. Please beware if staying here. I do not know how this hotel was categorized as a top hotel in the 3rd party's offerings. It was truly subpar. I'd be leary of ratings and would read more reviews in the future.
Radisson Hotel Detroit Metro Airport

The hotel is located close to the airport and there is a shuttle bus transfer machine. The front desk service is warm. Hotel facilities are more general. There is a refrigerator microwave. But the more amazing thing is that there is a small squall in the hair dryer. When you open the hair dryer, you jump out and crawl in the bathroom, which is scary. Health is not good. Hope to improve.
