A lovely staff member even escorted me to my room, and their warm hospitality really helped ease my travel fatigue. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around; it's very close to Mo Pond, Wuma Street, and Gulou. The surrounding area has a fantastic variety of local food options, full of vibrant street life, perfect for a city walk. SStephLiAn amazing hidden family-managed courtyard located at immediate distance from Dalongqiu Scenari Area. The service was amazing, very warm and attentive to our requests. Upgraded freely by the management in a big room given a direct view in the landscape of Yandangshan. Room was ready before the check-in time, and completely clean and impeccable, with a strong emphasis on the traditional Chinese design. Special mention to the two lovely managers who gave their best throughout our stay: advices, gifts, and always helping with a smile. Breakfast was atypical yet yummy. Icing on the cake - they also managed our departure from the hotel to the train station at their expenses. Stayed for 1 night, but wish we could stay longer. Needless to say - absolutely recommended place and will share it around me.

We drove to Wencheng, a renowned destination that was new to me – Liu Bowen's hometown and home to the famous Baizhangji scenic area.
The host was already waiting for our arrival. Despite the drizzling rain, they helped with our luggage, carefully guided us, and even assisted with charging our car. This incredible hospitality instantly made the unfamiliar mountain depths feel wonderfully warm and inviting, just like home!
Bluestone steps led us to a starlit courtyard. The moment we pushed open the wooden gate, a striking fusion of ancient village tranquility and modern pastoral elegance greeted our eyes!
We didn't even have time to admire the night sky before stepping into our room. It was wonderfully spacious and comfortable, featuring a large desk by the window – perfect for brewing tea, painting, or simply letting inspiration flow. The host had thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning beforehand, ensuring a comfortable check-in experience. We quickly drifted off into a deep sleep on the plush, soft bed, enveloped by the fresh, invigorating mountain air, eagerly anticipating the next day's adventures!
First thing in the morning, our host delivered coffee and a sumptuous breakfast directly to our room. Framed by the floor-to-ceiling window, the ethereal mountain mist and morning fog seemed to effortlessly steal into my heart, while filtered sunlight dancing through the bamboo blinds gracefully illuminated the washbasin.
Baizhangji is just a short drive away! The area also boasts bustling souvenir photo shops and a vibrant snack street. After a day of hiking and sightseeing, the best part was looking forward to returning to our cozy guesthouse.
The highlight, however, was dusk, when the entire courtyard's fish pond transformed into a captivating vessel for moonlight. Every corner exuded rustic elegance, allowing us to find joyful solitude and escape the city's hustle and bustle in perfect tranquility!
Note: We confirmed it's only a 6-minute drive from the guesthouse to Baizhangji North Gate! Also, within 300 meters, you'll find a She ethnic restaurant, a riverside café, and an intangible cultural heritage noodle workshop, all typically open during peak season. Excellent and highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe room had a small balcony with a view of the mountains, a beautiful view that felt like a fairy on rainy days. The crooked tree in the yard was a favorite. The fish tank was a bit dirty, but I loved the double swing. Tea was free in the teahouse, and the waitress was very kind and considerate. She even let us choose between a south-facing room and a balcony with a mountain view. She also provided a brief guide on how to get around, how to get to the bus, and whether to borrow an umbrella for rainy days.
The breakfast was generous, with four small pickles that were delicious. I wanted to try them all. The yellow mud snails were fresh and not fishy, with no sand or sand in them. The fermented tofu was not salty and slightly sweet, and the pickles were the kind with bamboo shoots. The oyster sauce and lettuce were comparable to what I've had for dim sum in Guangzhou, Macau, and Hong Kong. The cakes were sweet and glutinous, the steamed buns were soft, and the meat buns were firm and homemade, with a fresh, sweet filling and a light, sweet sugarcane flavor. The soy milk with millet tasted a bit like coffee or milk tea. The wontons were also delicious. Dinner can be reserved for a fee. The wild river shrimp and snails were fresh, the roast chicken was delicious, and the vegetables were fresh. They also gave us pomelo, oranges, peanuts and other things. There was plenty of bottled water every day, and they would ask if I wanted water before I went out, which was very thoughtful.

Facilities: The room is not big, but the hardware is comparable to a four-star hotel.
Cleanliness: The room was cleaned very well and the linen looked clean. The toiletries provided are also of good quality.
Environment: When I wake up early in the morning, I feel like I am living in a forest oxygen bar and feel the real tranquility. You can also experience the uncrowded scenic spot before the large number of tourists come in. This is really great. There are no people in the photos you took.
Service: The service is super great. They will take the initiative to help you pick up your luggage from the parking lot and ask you for your license plate number in advance to avoid being denied access to vehicles at the entrance of the scenic spot. Every waiter is super enthusiastic.
If you stay in the scenic area, you will get tickets to Yongjia Academy as a gift. If you want to go to the Alice Cloud Corridor, you can get a 20% discount for hotel guests. A super experience

The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, patiently answering all my questions and making my trip so much easier. I was also very grateful for the chilled watermelon and snacks provided. The food at their restaurant was excellent too, especially the spicy crayfish – it really packed a punch!

AAnonymous UserI’ve been looking at accommodations on Ctrip for a long time. I stayed here for two nights during this trip. It’s my second night here. I read the reviews and they all had five-star reviews. I thought it was good because it was my first time here and I just followed everyone.
I didn’t expect it to be unsatisfactory. It would be better to stay in a B&B without a front desk on the first night.
After checking in, we found our own accommodation. The front desk only tells you how to get there. Because the single-roof room is outside, you need to find it yourself.
The review said it was very close to the beach, and the bus ended at 6:30 in the evening. In the end, our two families, four adults and four children, spent 25 minutes walking to the hotel together.
There was nothing delicious about breakfast. The kids asked for money, but neither of them wanted to eat. Then my husband and I finished the meal in five minutes.
There is a bathtub, which is not very clean to the naked eye, and there is no disposable bathtub cover, so it becomes a decoration.
Both my daughters and myself need to blow dry their hair, and the hair dryer is hard to use...it doesn't work for a long time.
I didn’t wear my slippers, but I found there was sand on them
The box where the toothbrush and toothpaste are placed is also not cleaned at all and there are still dirty things.
But. To be honest, the night view is still okay. After all, its location is also unique.

MMeiweiweiIt takes 20 minutes to drive up the mountain to get to the villa. The entrance to the Yucangshan Forest Park is right outside. The rooms are in a building similar to an earth building. You can spend half a day leisurely shopping in the villa. During the National Day, water golf balls are provided for free. The meals are mainly set meals. It is still worth staying.

GGuest UserThe room is very special, a two-story stone cabin with all kitchen accessories.
It is very close to the bay. You can buy some aquatic products just caught by the fishermen and process them in your room. There is also a restaurant in the B&B where we ate twice. It was nice not to step into any trouble.
You can fish with lures on the seashore, and the resources are very good, including various small snappers and small pufferfish.
Opposite the B&B is an attraction. There were a lot of people during the National Day, so I didn’t go inside. There is a nice cafe near the attraction.
