Courtyard by Marriott Paris Charles de Gaulle Central Airport

A standard business hotel near the airport. It's right next to the airport, so you can watch planes take off and land. It's in the PX area's hotel district, with a few other similarly rated hotels nearby, all pretty much the same.

I'm a returning guest. Although the location is in the airport area, it's very easy to get Uber and food delivery here. The facilities are quite new, and it's a quiet and convenient place to stay.

Overall, it's pretty average. You have to take a monorail from the airport, and then it's a bit of a walk from there, which isn't ideal if you have a lot of luggage. The hotel service was very mediocre; even as a Marriott member, I didn't get an upgrade. Even though it's next to the airport, I didn't hear any airplane noise at night.

The room quality was average; it seemed like an old room that had been renovated. The card reader even said 'Residence Inn,' which doesn't meet Courtyard's standards. The service attitude was above average. You can take the CDGVAL to the airport, but if you take the hotel shuttle, it costs an extra 8 euros, which isn't really worth it.

Service: The female staff member on duty was very unhelpful. We were given a bad room, and when we called about the hot water not working, she just hung up. It’s been a day and the deposit still hasn’t been refunded. Facilities: The faucet in the first room had no hot water and the shower pressure was very low. They only changed our room after we called for maintenance. Hygiene: The breakfast selection was limited, and the bread tasted pre-made (unlike the freshly baked bread we've had in a dozen other hotels in France). The pineapple was rotten.

So-so. It was a hassle to get my deposit back; I had to contact them many times. They really need to improve this and refund promptly. Otherwise, their credibility will suffer.

This hotel is probably the furthest one from the airport in this area, but it's still less than a 15-minute walk to the CDGVAL. The window faces the building across the way and is so close that I didn't feel comfortable opening the curtains. The bed was very comfortable.
