"The Accra is in a good location on a lovely beach with lots going on in that area and quite close to St Lawrence Gap. The hotel interior is in desperate need of refurbishment or at least some maintenance and cleaning. Scruffy in many places with stained dirty carpets in the corridors it's not impressive. If you can get a room where everything works then it comes under the "not bad" category. Ocean View rooms are worth upgrading to. The serrvice level is very hit and miss, I experienced rude, grumpy staff at the front desk and others who were helpful and charming. I had several problems with my room (no AC, lights and shower broken, it took 36 hours to get a room change as the AC could not be fixed, but no apologies given, the staff were very annoyed at yet another guest with problems. The restaurant refused to allow us to eat A la Carte saying that "the Chef says "No a la carte today"" The exchange rate to GBP is incorrect, they give a lower rate than to the US$ (1.85 instead of 2.76), probably an error or typo but they weren't interested. I emailed the Manager whilst there and received an AI written reply. All in all it's okay, nice pool, price can be good but there are many other hotels to choose from."
