Holiday Inn Express & Suites ROCHESTER – MAYO CLINIC AREA by IHG

I booked the hotel five hours before I check in the hotel and finally reach the Holiday Inn by 1 AM in the midnight and the staff is saying that they don’t have any more rooms left. They did not even mail me or contact me saying that the rooms are not available since they can see my booking information there. It was very terrible and ridiculous. Staff was not even caring. There was like we can’t do anything. They were very rude. we don’t have any more rooms left. I don’t even know where to go in the midnight.

parking lot was full when we arrived - had to park in the garage below, which was OK just felt a little unsafe late at night

There was not alot of parking space/options. We had a king bed with pull out couch, property notes they have available bedding, but we were told they were overbooked and there was no extra pillows available.

Could be cleaner, but nice hotel and no major complaints. Great breakfast! Pool and hot tub are very small.

No hot water for the shower Asked for a wake up call, no call happened. Wont stay again

The rooms, are great, nice breakfast. You need a new coffee machine, the of breakfast, attendants has to work on it, every day. It, X-Ray was great!

The refrigerator in the room had a leg missing and was unstable; one of the chairs in the room was broken. The hot tub was drained and out of order. Breakfast was good, hot food; nice assortment.

Room was clean, staff was friendly. What we really like is parking in the underground, heated parking facility, especially in January!!

Comfortable, quiet room, good breakfast, convenient location (close to hospital and clinic), pleasant, helpful staff.
