The room I stayed in was very clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing me to get a good rest at night. The hotel staff was very friendly and professional and made me feel right at home. What is particularly worth mentioning is the hotel's assistant lobby manager. He is very warm and considerate. No matter what needs I have, he will patiently and meticulously help me solve them. His service attitude and professionalism made me have a very good impression of the hotel. In addition, the hotel has first-class facilities such as a gym and swimming pool, allowing me to maintain a healthy lifestyle during my stay. Although the hotel is a little far from the seaside, there is Suning Mall next to the hotel, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay at Novotel Rizhao Suning. I highly recommend it to friends who need to travel to Rizhao! A good hotel with really nice, hard-working staff. Not the best view (our window looked out onto the street, super awkward) but it's a pretty good location in the city if you're not aiming to visit the mountains or anything. The only downside was the breakfast - not really the best selection for a buffet. It got way too busy and it was difficult to find a table; one morning they ran out of clean plates so a lot of visitors were hovering around and grabbing plates as staff brought them out. The wait to use the single coffee machine was too long, and at one point they just took it away and replaced it with coffee pots. All things considered it could have been worse.

The advantage of the hotel is that it is close to the beach. The beach is just a few minutes away from the back door of the hotel. Playing and swimming on the beach is great. In the morning, I can go out to watch the sunrise. When the tide recedes, I come to pick up a stone shell. It’s too hot to swim in the daytime, and it’s not cool to swim in the evening. The waves roll over one after another. It was so cool to slap. The hotel service is not bad, check in to send fruit, biscuits, small pendants. Check out also send fruit. The disadvantage is that it is relatively noisy. The singing on the beach is still going on in the early morning, and it starts to be noisy when people enter the entrance of the scenic spot early in the morning.

The hotel is really nice when it comes to the decoration and the quality of items you find here and there. Yet, the service was rather confusing. I accidently booked a room with no windows, and, as i only stayed in Rizhao for two days and already travelled around for a bit, decided not to bother changing it. The heating in the room was okay at first and unbelievable later on; i literally couldn't fall asleep the whole night. When i asked to turn it down in the morning, i was suggested to change the room again. When i refused, they eventually turned it down, but just a bit, so i had to keep the door ajar pretty much all the time, which is not a pleasant experience in itself. I found some fruit later in the room, which was a nice gesture, but I'd rather be able to breathe normally 🙃
