Radisson Blu Vancouver Airport Hotel & Marina

Since I was taking the ferry to Victoria, I chose a hotel in Richmond for my second night in Vancouver. This hotel is relatively new, so the facilities are quite good and meet close to a four-star standard. However, their check-in policy is quite rigid; even if your room is ready, you still have to wait until after 3 PM to check in. If you want to check in early, you have to pay an extra 60 CAD. The hotel's location isn't ideal either, as it's about a 15-minute walk to the nearest SkyTrain station, Capstan.

It's very close to the airport. There aren't many shops around, but it's an easy walk to the SkyTrain. The room was quite new.

The room was clean and comfortable, with excellent amenities including a microwave and complimentary bottled water. The 1.5-meter double bed was very comfortable, and the night view was beautiful. It offered great value for money, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!

Perfect as a transit hotel. They offer a free shuttle bus from Gate 5 on the 3rd floor, running every 10 minutes. It's close to Richmond, and there's a shuttle bus to Richmond on weekends. There are no dining options nearby, so you have to eat in the hotel or take the shuttle back to the airport or a taxi across the river for food. Overall, it's great value for money. The early check-in option for 30 CAD was a nice touch.

I stayed here for one night during a layover. They offer a free shuttle service between the hotel and the airport every 30 minutes, which is super convenient, especially since it's just over a kilometer from the airport.

The hotel's exterior looks a bit old, but the rooms are newly renovated, making them quite modern by international standards. The bedroom is spacious, and the bathroom is clean. Our room was located above the lobby, offering great views from the floor-to-ceiling windows with no noise issues. The free airport shuttle bus was punctual, and the driver kindly helped us with our luggage. The shuttle departs from the hotel entrance every half hour on the dot and takes 10 minutes to reach the airport. This makes it easy to estimate the shuttle times for the return trip from the airport. There aren't many dining options in the immediate vicinity, so we ate at the airport.

I stayed two nights at the Blu Hotel. It's very close to the airport and offers a 24-hour airport shuttle, which was incredibly convenient. Plus, it's a short walk to the outlet mall for shopping, and not far from the SkyTrain station, making it easy to get to the city center. Definitely recommend!
