Saint George Resort

We had a fabulous 9 night stay in early June. Arrived late and met by night reception who I think was the family Grandfather. Efficient and friendly and escorted us to our room and a quick orientation of pool and restaurant for morning. Rooms are spotlessly clean with comfortable bed and a nice sunny terrace or balcony. We were in room 115 which was nearer the back and close to pool and restaurant for breakfast. Smart TV , reasonable speed WiFi and free air conditioning available. Linen changed daily as required as well as room cleaned. Small fridge available for water and beer! The breakfast was prepared by a friendly team and had good coffee , continental selection with fruits and hot eggs , bacon and sausage. Perfectly cooked and presented with a friendly smile. The reception staff were friendly and helpful but we are fairly self sufficient once orientated. I would say you would benefit by having a car although there is a bus stop directly in front of hotel. 15 minute walk to town for restaurants and beach is probably best reached by car or taxi. A fabulous family run hotel. The family were so helpful and friendly.

Stayed here beginning of September with my brother. Lovely hotel with fabulous staff. Rooms cleaned daily, very friendly family run hotel with a lovely pool area and gardens. A 10 minute walk to the village.

Will be coming back next year hotel very clean staff very friendly was made to feel very welcome from the night we arrived George and family couldn't do anything better they were amazing would like to thank them all from the bottom of my heart I just didn't want to leave

Stayed at this hotel for 11 day and couldn’t have had a nicer hotel . Tampikas family that owned this hotel have been very kind and helpful , its clean , pool is lovely and food is lovely , only downside is you need a car to get anywhere as things are very out of the way as I was regifted disabled , but if your looking for a friendly clean hotel this is the one thankyou from cheryl and

Resort is near road and easy access, especially if you are driving around the island by car. Resort is family driven, very nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, excellent cleaning, and a great pool area. Staff very helpful and serviceminded and also helped us get to next lokation. We give our best recommendations.

The resort was okay for the money. The room was small but reasonably well appointed, and cleaned daily. The reception is generally staffed by an older gentleman with limited English. The location is very poor for the kind of lazy seaside holiday I had envisaged though. It is on a main road, and is at least an hour’s walk to the beach. The local village is a 10 minute walk away but I would not do it in the dark as I wouldn’t feel safe. The village is not a tourist resort at all, and offers little for the tourist to do. The local bus service is infrequent. I recommend you do your due diligence before booking this here, it’s hard work to get anywhere, and there is little to see and do within easy reach.

We have just returned from a week at this beautiful hotel. It was a friendly, family run hotel. We were made to feel welcome and that nothing was too much trouble by the owners. On the night we arrived we had just missed dinner, however, we were offered a salad which we gratefully accepted after a long journey. What came out was a feast of salad, stew, vegetables and bread. We were full of delicious food and about ready to get to bed when two big plates of fresh watermelon was offered. The family were so kind and the hotel beautiful. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The food all week was delicious and the setting was perfect. We couldn’t fault a single thing and it exceeded our expectations. We felt that our comfort and satisfaction was their priority. The owners were helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful holiday. Even offering us lifts to the local beach. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a little slice of paradise.

We visited the hotel in mid September. The room was clean and had everything needed, kettle , balcony fridge etc. We were on the back of the hotel on the ground floor and it was very quiet. The pool area is good and the bar served local spirits and drinks as part of the all inclusive package. Food was very good and served fresh with a wide variety of choice particularly at breakfast. The lamb was amazing . The hotel is a fair walk from the beach and Faliraki but there is a bus service outside. We had a hire car and there is ample parking at the hotel. Staff were all great the only mistake was that we offered to move hotel on our last night as they were overbooked. What a bad decision their sister hotel in Faliraki is a dump, rubbish everywhere and staff couldn’t care less. Chalk and cheese

Well it calls itself a hotel and believe me it’s no hotel not even a bed and breakfast.Advertising food and drinks served from the hotel bar and pool bar absolutely a lie false advertising the only positive is that you’re room was cleaned daily that’s it theirs no help from reception to get a taxi he said he doesn’t do that???? Very ignorant old man Luckily for us their was a petrol garage 250 yards away so got all crisps and pop from their couldn’t get much as the fridge was the smallest ever .This is the first review I ever written because I don’t like putting my opinions on to others But please keep well away from this hole Rising Damp comes to mind HORRIBLE
