This hotel is definitely not a 4 star at best it's a 3 star and at worst a 2 star. Apparently the garden view rooms (which we were in although it was a road view not a garden view) are worse than the sea view ones on the other side of the road but I can't vouch for that. The hotel is so dated, the tiles in the bathroom are old fashioned and the grout is brown and disgusting, they still have shower over the bath with a shower curtain that sticks to you. The bottom of the bath was very discoloured where it had seen so much traffic. The general maintenance in the room was also very poor. We were self catering and there were stains all over the worktop, the air con broke down but when it did work it was really loud. door handles were rusty, broken doors at the bottom and there was a stale smell when the doors were closed. On two occasions the maids couldn't even be bothered to make the bed up properly and just pulled the top sheet over and chucked a top sheet on top of the bed for us to to put on. The general areas also need a lot of attention. the slabs around the pool were loose (there was a piece of chewing gum in between two slabs all week) and the tiles on the bottom of the pool were missing or looked dirty. The sunbeds were very rickety and didn't feel safe at all. I would strongly advise a total refurbishment over the Winter months or down grade to a more realistic rating.

This hotel is absolutely amazing...I really cannot say anything negative about it. From the staff to the facilities and the location, everything about this hotel is 5 star. Me and my partner went B and B as we like to get out and explore. The breakfast was delicious with so much choice . The staff are so accommodating and will do anything for you. We did eat once in the hotel at the Italian themed restaurant (can't remember the name) and the food was very good . Bit poncy but obviously prepared and served with class at the forefront. The room was spotless and so comfortable with an amazing view that I will always remember. The pool at night is a spectacular. Little lights that change colour and flicker all evening giving the ambience of the hotel such a classy and visually amazing touch . The beach directly opposite the hotel is rocky and pebbly but still very nice. I personally am a beach coniseur so always search for the best beaches. So I would highly recommend tskimba beach which is 10 minute bus ride away . Best beach I have been to ...golden soft sand , crystal clear water. Amazing little bar/restaurant playing chilled and relaxing music. Service to your sunbed if you want and only €20 for 2 sunbeds and a brolly. Outside of the hotel there is an abundance of little shops and restaurants with a variety of different foods . Altogether Rhodes was amazing. The Sentigo Royal Port and spa is absolutely amazing. I will definitely be returning to this place .

This hotel was really nice. We were upgraded to the swim up pool room which was rather nice. The only downside is unfortunately the sun is not on it for long. We did use the pool though because we like the cold water and it was a definately colder than the main pool. The main pool was so nice and rhe beds are comfy. Even in October 24/25 degrees it was hot and you wouod need to cool off in the pool. They had walk in steps to the pool as well as the climb down steps. The entertainment by Alan was great (he said he was from Poland) he would give a ten minute warning for water polo, football, beach volley ball, boules, tennis and ping ping etc and he worked hard day and night with the entertainment. It was good fun actually and the other guests were all so nice that we met and chatted to while participating in games. Also don't miss quiz night it was brilliant. The staff were so friendly and chatty and you can get prosecco which was rather good and lots of different cocktails. Certain brands you would need to pay for. The amaretto was nice so I wasn't bothered it wasn't Dissorano. If you want to drink past midnight you have to pay to upgrade the wrist band from what I heard. I also discovered the lemon slushy from the pool was nice with tequila in it. That was a suggestion made to me by Sakis who worked the pool bar. He was so lovely and was trying to help me pronouncing the greek words I was trying to use. The food was great, I haven't been happy with all inclusive in the past due to the food. I couldnt fault the food. There is lots of choice. Lots of pork, but also chicken, beef, fish and vegetable dishes. I liked the fact they had a lower counter so kids could help themselves to spaghetti bolognaise or the other dishes that children might prefer to eat. The only suggestion is to have the ham and cheese slices that are out at breakfast and have those out at lunchtime as well so that they can be added to salad. Also keep the toastie machine out at lunch for toastie sandwiches. The rooms were nice enough but maybe could do with a bit of an update but the beds were very comfortable. Also the towels are not very big so I used a pool towel instead because it was much bigger. I like large shower towels so they could do with providing bigger towels. The beach is close by you walk out the back of the hotel and not to the marina part but the road heading to the right ish and your there in 5 minutes. Apparently they will golf buggy you there if you want to. I would recommend this hotel. I am not sure about when it's very busy in the summer and queuing for drinks but October there was hardly a queue.

We are still on holiday at the Rodos Village currently, for which we have mixed feelings! I will update this review upon our return home with the pros and cons we have experienced - thankfully things have improved greatly after we spoke with the Front of house manager Andreas, who worked hard to provide the expected Mitsis standard which we had not received during the first 5 days of our stay. But in the meantime, I wanted to acknowledge the members of staff who really stood out and provided excellent service. Fantastic hotel. Would stay here again without any hesitation. The all inclusive food was superb and the best we have ever had (including restaurants) the room with private pool was brilliant, spacious and light. Well stocked mini bar!! My only slight observation would be that some of the hotel needed a bit of minor cosmetic attention (cracks in glass etc) and room housekeeping (sometimes hair and fluff left on floor) but this did not detract from the quality of the overall stay. There were quite a few children around and other reviews suggest plenty for kids to do, however we didn’t take our children on this short stay but believe they may have been slightly bored if they had come along - besides a small pool / slide and play area there did not seem a lot for children. Please keep in mind we were not specifically looking as we were child free so this is not a criticism . Booking of restaurants is essential - download the mitsis app which was a godsend! It features all restaurant menus and concierge so you can add extras. . Super impressed with the hotel!

Very good hotel for staying at with family, however could be improved by a little bit. Me and my family stayed in a sea view room for three people. The beds were very comfortable but due to the green and red flashing lights above the doorway it made it hard to get to sleep. In the room they only supplied us with two dressing gowns, two mugs, and two slippers, however there were three of us. The facilities were a nice complement to our stay, including a variety of different pools, a swim up bar, a gym and a spa. The meals were great however when you get guided to your table the staff don’t ask you straight away what you would like to drink. If you don’t like eating in the cold bad luck because most of the places to sit and eat get a mild breeze coming from outside. Me and my mum got a massage which was really nice! All together I would definitely recommend going to Rhodes bay hotel and spa!

Arrived here for 10 days end of October . On first sight hotel lobby looked beautifull and the hotel itself . We were offered a glass of fizz each as a welcome drink . There was one person on the reception as it was after 12 midnight . He gave us our card and said your room is just over there you can walk to it no problem . As we had just arrived and were very tired after our flight being delayed I would have thought the porter could have showed us to our room as he was bringing the suitcase but no we had to fend for ourselves not a good 5 star impression . We did find our room adtwe Going round in circles a few times not what you really need at that time of night . So we had booked a deluxe sea view swim up room and on arriving we realised our sea view was blocked by a building in front . In the morning we said to reception and they were very nice and Moved us right away to a beautifull room with a great sea view . The room in itself was very modern and clean . The only thing I would say is they say the swim ups are heated they certainly don’t feel heated at all . They are very cold when you get in and You can’t spend a lot of time in them as they are so cold . Lots of their guests were saying this as well.. The food ar the hotel overall was good though wee were not a fan at all of the beef . The burgers tasted weird and the beef dish at the Italian was tough . The lamb dishes were not great either very tough my partner said . You could have other dishes like mussels and prawns etc which were lovely as were the pizzas . We preferred the a la carte restaurants to the buffet really not a fan of the food in there . Though booking the a la carte restaurants was a nightmare you has to wait till after midnight on the app to book and then you couldn’t get anything most times . We had read previous reviews and it said if you. Went to reception they booked it for you which we did and they were helpfulll and did get us in the restaurants but it spends who you spoke to as some guests told us they couldn’t get in at all . Think this system needs to be replaced . The hotel was spotless and most of the staff were very nice and helpfull . We got on the little train outside to go to Kaotori which was just a bit of fun not much there but there is little secluded beaches all around which were very nice to walk too as well. We also spent a day in Lindos which is only 20 mins away by bus which you can get outside the hotel . We climbed to the top of the acropolis in Lindos and went to St Paul’s bay which is stunning . Overall the Mayia is a beautifull hotel in a secluded area. Great if you want to just chill in luxury surroundings . Also I felt there was not enough entertainment at the hotel only three nights a week in the amphitheater so it could become a bit boring at night as there is not too much to do around the hotel . Would have liked to see tha amphitheater used more as when it was used everyone had a great time with he acts that were on dancing an
