Do not stay at this place, especially if you are woman travelling alone. Nobody works here, and the back door that leads to the alley is unlocked, You just walk in. The stairs have no railings, The bedroom door was broken and does not lock properly. There are piles and piles ( like 5 ft high) of garbage around the place. The shared toilet was broken, and ran all night so very loud. Buckets on the floor to collect leaking roof water. Not okay.

Far from food places, shops, activities in Reykjavik. We had to remind them to send us the check-in information several times, otherwise we could not enter. Room was substandard: cellar room with cartons ducktaped to the hallway window for 'privacy'. Poorly finished, this room was clearly a basement before, not entirely renovated to rooms. With *********** there is no way to know which room you will be 'assigned'. Showers are dirty, some have moisture issues. Refund policy is unfriendly: we tried to cancel months in advance and no refund possible whatsoever. The owner seems to be using this place as an investment to get some money of unheeding tourists and dump old and broken furniture. All over the hallways: broken stuff, repair tools. In the middle of the night the housekeeper was rummaging through cupboards in the hallway, waking us up several times.

Nice and warm. Lots of space to sit around. It was very relaxing for me and don't forget to bring a frisbee. There is an urban forest and birds chirping even in winter. Less than 2 km to a little shopping centre. Wish I could have stayed longer, many thanks!

HORRIBLE PLACE! The main entrance door to this center would not open and had to be kicked from inside to open. While trying to enter from outside, we had to bang on the door and side window before someone opened it from inside. Extremely scary when you are with family and arrive late Bathrooms were unclean and filthy, used soap provided. Dustbins overflowing with thrash. Water in the taps had sulphur smell. Kitchen was unclean and dirty. Horrible, worst experience.

My room was small and the window too, it felt a little bit like a bunker, but really I was there only when sleeping, because the common areas were so cozy with sofas, the loft with big floor area invited to have some yoga and dancing. It was quiet and nice.

THIS IS NOT A HOTEL IT IS A HOSTEL! I booked this for my wife who was stranded alone from a canceled flight at KEF. It was the only place remaining on **********, so the price was so high it was insulting. She was so disgusted by the dirt that she did NOT take a shower. She was in a room with lots of other people mostly men. I'm really glad she made it back without personal harm.

This is a lower cost option, and that is clear. My room was clean and very basic. No TV and a small desk. The heater dial was turned all the way down but was still hot, so I had to leave the window fully open. Bathrooms are in Ok shape, but the showers are cheap, and the ceiling of one bathroom appears to have mold or mildew. The front door sticks and doesn’t always fully close and lock. Trashes we’re full outside, and interior trashes weren’t dumped in the 4 days I was there. One bathroom ran out of toilet paper and that wasn’t replaced. The whole property needs maintenance. The staff had children that were loud after midnight. When returning to Reykjavik, I will look for a different option.
