"After looking at hotels in Pattaya for several days with my friend, we finally settled on this one. I personally think it offers great value for money. It has a beautiful French style, perfect for taking photos. When we checked in, the staff were very friendly. The hotel lobby has excellent air conditioning and they even served wood apple juice.
On our first day, we wanted to find some food nearby. We saw a recommended restaurant on an app that claimed to be delicious (see picture 10). We walked for over half an hour in the sun and were completely parched. In the end, we spent 570 Thai Baht but weren't full, and the food was terrible. Many locals were eating there, so I guess it was just that we weren't used to the taste! To the right of that bad restaurant, there's a place called MHAN, which was much better. We ordered some stir-fried noodles and a Pad Kra Pao for just over 200 Thai Baht. After eating, we took a motorcycle back to the hotel. We're definitely not walking again. For some reason, an 800-meter walk on a Thai map feels like 2 kilometers.
We stayed in building 3, which was very quiet. We hadn't slept well for the first two days at another hotel because of roosters, so it was a relief to finally get a good night's sleep here. The garden view room has a large balcony with a beautiful garden view, just as lovely as in the hotel's promotional pictures. The only minor inconvenience in the room was the lack of bedside outlets; we had to charge our devices by the TV or on the desk. Also, it's best to keep the balcony door closed, otherwise, you'll get mosquitoes, as the hotel has a lot of greenery, leading to quite a few mosquitoes.
During our stay, we had an essential oil massage. It was over 500 RMB for two people for 90 minutes. The technique was decent. If you have a generous budget, you could try it. Picture 4 shows the prices.
We didn't book breakfast when we made our hotel reservation. Buying it separately at the hotel costs 350 Thai Baht per person. We tried it once (see picture 6). The breakfast variety felt a bit limited, so the value for money wasn't great, and the taste was just okay. You could definitely skip it. For breakfast, I highly recommend the coffee shop just outside the lobby (pictures 2 and 3). A sandwich is just over 100 Thai Baht, and the coffee, Thai milk tea, and small cakes are all quite good.
Everything else was very satisfying. The hotel has two pools, one large and one small – one for swimming and one for admiring. When an umbrella broke one day, someone quickly brought a replacement. There are shuttle buggies from the lobby to the rooms, and almost all the staff we encountered greeted us with a smile. At the hotel lobby's spa reception, there was a lovely lady with a round face who spoke excellent Chinese. She was very patient in answering our questions. This is a hotel I would definitely choose again if I come to Pattaya."
