"The hotel grounds are amazing, full of wildlife and nature (no spiders or snakes though). Breakfast was really good and had a great variety. The beach water was clean and the pools were nice.
The biggest downside was the terrible soundproofing in the sea-view rooms on the hillside. We could clearly hear our neighbors talking and playing music all night. We called the reception several times, but nothing changed. In the end we just had to wait until they finished partying and went to sleep.
The rooms are also a bit worn out. Some mold in places and the plumbing feels outdated.
Location-wise, it’s quite inconvenient without a bike or car. The hotel shuttle runs rarely, and every ride to town on a songthaew costs about 50–70 baht per person, which becomes 2–3 times more expensive in the evening."
