A fabulous location opposite the Railway Station which has been modernised and looks fantastic. The Hotel is of good quality and the breakfast served was varied and tasty. The location allows you a choice of restaurants and bars nearby and is a good base,

Your typical Ibis chain hotel, get what you are prepared to pay for. great location to Gare De Rennes if training. Rooms are typically budget sized with ensuite pods . In saying that reasonably sized shower. Comfortable enough for an overnite stay. Continental buffet breakfast option adequate , very french. Comfortable enough beds. Would rate good as opposed to average.

This is a brand and thus the services are more or less aligned. I enjoyed the breakfast (even if the spaces should be better accommodated). The room is recently renewed (or well maintained), the location is just in front of the railway station walking distance form city center and all the transportation system. My room was on the ground floor and thus a didn't open the blanket unfortunately.

Great staff and location. The room was so small it was hard to move around in. A room this small should never have been designed in the first place. I mean the tiniest room ever. Breakfast, which was included, was decent.

We arrived by train from Vannes at 10:00 a.m. The room wasn't ready until 1:00 p.m., despite being an Accor member. The hotel serves as a base for exploring Brittany. We went to Vitre by train, then took a bus to Fouguere, and from there we returned by bus to Rennes. A lovely day trip. The room has a comfortable bed and a hot shower. We spent two nights. Rennes can be explored in half a day. The breakfast was good (see photos). The hotel needs maintenance. Although everything is clean and the service is friendly. The only problem is that some people are only given one drink per room by management; apparently, each Ibis has a different policy. 🤷🏼♀️. Free tea and coffee are available all day. The rating is for the reasons given; the hotel could use some improvements in its maintenance!

Correct hotel, services without more, meals in jars are to be avoided, dry and tasteless. Not offering anything would be better. Ideally located right in front of the station, the area is not safe, for a single woman especially in the evening. The rooms are spacious and clean.
