Positives: - comfortable bed - good parking in garage - friendy reseption - good aircondition - nice and clean rooms Negatives: - restaurant was expensive and not good. If the food was good I wouldnt mind the price. No flavour, dry and really a let down. Didnt have breakfast so wouldt know it that was good. All in all a good hotel, but will not eat at the restaurant again if we stay there again.
Hampton by Hilton Regensburg

We were satisfied! The reception at the check-in was very nice, competent and personal. Very well enjoyed that we were asked if we should give tips. A map with all the attractions was ready and according to our needs, recommendations were given and entered on the map. We did try some of them and were completely satisfied with it. The house is quite new. As a result, modern and still good in shot is everything. The rooms are kept in the typical new Hampton design. We find this room type very good. It is conveniently built and on a relatively small place you find everything you need. Unfortunately, the rooms are in themselves apparently smaller than some other Hampton rooms, so only one Queensize bed has fit into the rooms. Something we found strange also the ”upgrade” we received due to our Hilton Diamond status. According to the app, we should have an ”View” room as a upgrade. The room we received had a view. On a non-saging indoor courtyard. Unfortunately. Breakfast was typical of Hampton. Specially noticed we have that there are no tablets and discharge weighing. What else is typical of Hampton. Here the dish is still cleaned. Very nice. The cleanliness of the hotel and room was absolutely OK. In the room you find a small note that the room cleaning is only on demand. That worked very well with us. The staff was friendly by way. For a Hampton even over-average friendly. Only the location is not so optimal. You run so about 20 minutes until you are in the old town. But for that, beautifully along the Danube.

It is far from the old city and needs to drive or do public transportation. The German bus is not as convenient as the domestic one. The rooms are small, but very clean. There are very few urban tourists, mainly locals or Germans. Local restaurant waiters speak German and are not very friendly in speaking English.

I cannot recommend this hotel if you are passing through heading south. Firstly, the female receptionists were rude and very unhelpful. We drove from Denmark to Croatia and booked the hotel both ways. I read on their website that they had a restaurant and that it closed at 9pm. On the way there, we arrived at the hotel at 8:10pm and were told there was a buffet and therefore they closed at 8:30pm. We had to hurry down to eat, which they reluctantly allowed because we arrived late. On the way back, we were told at the reception that the kitchen was closed, so instead of relaxing, we had to go out into the city to find some dinner. They had decided that everyone should have a glass carafe of water taken up to their room upon arrival. This was quite inconvenient when you were holding all your luggage and had to find your room by yourself. You then had to remember to bring the same bottle down with your luggage when checking out. Otherwise, you were asked to go up and get it before you could check out. One star for the mentioned receptionists.

The location was perfect for our purpose and this was the main reason we chose this hotel. It is a bit outdated, the style and furniture. My room was spacious and clean, but pretty basic, without fridge/mini-bar, safe or kettle/coffee-machine, which would be my expectations for a 4-star hotel. The bed was decent; however, pillows were pretty horrible, either too stiff or already disintegrated due to washing. The really odd thing, and possibly not according to the safety standards, was having plugs and switches on the bed headboard on the spot just behind pillows (I spotted this on the second day), like someone while assembling the headboard put together two left sides of the headboard by mistake. The breakfast was excellent, variety of hot and cold dishes, everything delicious, my favourite Pretzels of course. You could order your coffees according to your preferences. Wifi functioned nicely, but be aware that the password changes weekly so be advised to take note when avoiding to go the reception again and trying to figure out why the password doesn’t work anymore. The staff was professional and friendly. Good choice for short travelling.
Achat Hotel Regensburg im Park

We booked 3 nights with breakfast and Danube shipping Worldenburg as a whole package. Rooms super, clean and daily clean. Shower precaution Risk of departure!!! Parking directly free next to the hotel. Small teich next to the hotel (awn feeding banned). Breakfast also ok. In the evening at the bar you could drink something with waiting times. All right as far as possible. But then a bus full of older guests came who didn't behave. Very noisy entertainment at breakfast. You could understand everything over the room what was posaunt at the other end and beyond about several corners to the lift and staircase. Evening again very noisy in the small bar. As chairs were not enough, they were taken from the dining area and placed into the entrance area, and sounded music. Sound until night until 24:00, also from outside before the entrance. The noise was heard up to the 4 floors at closed windows and across the whole staircase. When we were complained that these are tribal guests and come more often. Super!!! Other guests had not liked this noise too. Another problem: There was a wrong place to invest for the Danube shipping booked. Only by chance we got the right out of that in another area. Then next problem: The hotel had forgotten to log in for the shipping. We should not have been able to go with. Only because other guests refused to enter the 80-year-old ship that was not a holiday ship, we could have gone with. We were told there were already more problems when booked people were not registered. Then partly rain came. In a small room only 8 people of over 40 guests were fit. Others had shields or were under a tense film or were unprotected there. The ship as such was not for passenger shipping. We went with only because we booked and we had a trip of more than 185 km. My wife wanted to recover a few days after a long serious illness. Unfortunately, this was not achieved by the disturbances described. Therefore, not the full score
